Uh oh. My Ti CC seems to be taking the scenic route  It spent 2 or 3 days in Chicago, which is fine. From there, the next scan should have been LA, in readiness for winging its way across the Pacific. Instead, it ended up in Louisville. I'm sure Louisville is very nice, but it's not feeling at all like progress.

It left there a couple of hours ago ... to somewhere vaguely in the direction of Australia, I hope!

I really wish I wasn't such an obsessive tracker! But it is a Ti CC ... how could one not be?

That is strange... :?:

usps...

I hope they feel horrible for the delay, and get it to you super quick, to try and atone for their transgressions ...

Thanks, buddy. :)

Credit goes to Peter and Marcus for that, though.

Brassy is bringing along a regulated buddy for today's yard work. I need to get done before it hits 100°F.

Hoho. Decided to try my hands on making some claptons. Turns out it's actually incredibly easy with no special tools apart from a simple drill.

Nothing close to being as nice as those I see online, but I'm hoping they work out fine. Gonna drop it on my cc :D

You'll struggle to power more than a single fused Clapton on a single battery device because if you run duals it'll take too long to heat up. FWIW i use either dual singles like you have there or a single fused one and then the ramp-up time is not too bad and the battery life acceptable.

Nice job for a first attempt too Kiwi, much better than my first go which resulted in 2 feet of knotted wire and a lot of swearing! One thing - if you are not a habitual coil rebuilder then you can get months of use from those coils and so by the time you need to make more, you'll almost have forgotten how! :)

i rather liked the 'CC II', but since roman numerals went out a while ago, because they are hard to multiply, i'd have suggested the '202'.

The mods seem to multiply and next week i am being adopted by Marcus, but he doesn't know just yet.
