What is it with these Jeep's and no mud or dirt on them? When I had mine several years ago, even after washing it I used to just toss up a little grass and dirt to make it look somewhat respectable!!! Blasphemy I tell you!!!

Holy shoot....you're totally right....

WOW....

Just wow....

I'm blaming the kids....

Did everyone notice that and not say anything? Was it that awkward? Like not telling someone they have food in their teeth....

I promise I graduated college.....

Dat skool bus...

My kids schools are closed today for under an inch of snow POSSIBLE.

Friend on the south side of Nashville posted earlier when the schools decided to dismiss early:
"good know after I already tried to get my kids to school and ended up leaving my van in a random parking lot while all of us walked home with the lights of the bus in the ditch flashing behind us"

Saw mention of several other school buses in ditches.

Coming from Pennsylvania, I was shocked when they closed school in Maryland.

Being in Tennessee is going to take some getting used to to say the least.

When they close down businesses and schools, I'm used to MORE people showing up at work than usual.

Not enough snow to have fun in. Definitely not enough to use as an excuse. Probably be bored at home anyway. WTH, might as well work today.

And the highway isn't slowed one bit.

Main roads are kept clear

Not in many states.

Utah
Wyoming
Texas
Tennessee
Georgia
New Mexico

To name a few.

But minor roads are easy to traverse.

Just find a speed that works for you.

If you can't do that, prepare to stay off the roads completely.

On highways, however, if you're not keeping up with speeds, you're deadly to yourself, your passengers, other motorists and their passengers.

Its funny what other parts of the country calls a snow day... I'm about 60 miles south of Chicago and 2yrs ago we had 36" dumped on us overnight and the kids still had school that day. The school board said they thought about calling it a snow day but it had or has to be over 48" to be considered!!! It was like that 40+yrs ago when I was in school. Snow removal on most county and town roads were cleared by 6AM and whatever dropped after that was cleared by traffic. I think they call them snow tires for a reason... You usually put them on your vehicle on or around Dec 1st and take them of on or around March 1st... Its not rocket science!!

We always made fun of anybody with snow tires.

Unless they had to have them because their regular tires were performance tires.
