while on the topic...

from july 1st, all imports here attract a 10% tax, they are doing away with the $1000 minimum

I don't think it will apply to Corey - only to those with a turnover in Australia over AU$75,000 pa -
GST on low value imported goods

The 10% GST on low value goods isn't collected when it goes through customs. The overseas supplier is supposed to collect it and send it to the Australian Tax Office four times a year.

From Applying GST to low value goods imported by consumers:

The current $1,000 GST, duty and reporting import threshold will not be changed or lowered. Instead, GST will be collected through suppliers, electronic distribution platforms or goods forwarders under the existing registration system or a simplified system.

and

Q: I am an overseas supplier that sell goods to consumers in Australia . What does thischange means for me?
If you sell less than $75,000 of low value goods to consumers in Australia (or other supplies subject to GST) per year you will not be required to do anything. However, if you sell $75,000 or more of low value goods to consumers in Australia (or other supplies subject to GST) per year, such as through your website or call centre, then you will be required to register for and pay GST on those sales.

Saw this on FB page if anyone is interested.

***CAPPY SILICONE BOTTLE GROUP ORDER: INFINITY & SUNBOX***

PLEASE READ THIS MESSAGE AND THE FORM BEFORE PM'ING ME QUESTIONS. THX.

Open to all International. If international orders want to coordinate a consolidated order to save on shipping, that can easily be arranged between me and the person chosen to handle the order.

...
If you are interested in purchasing the new 6ml silicone bottle or 8.5ml and/or 10ml bottle, fill out this form. All setups at this time have ss caps; delrin setups and caps available at a later date. Bottle setups are 15 euro each, regular RRP is 18.50 euro. Not cheap, but these bottles will ostensibly last forever unless you cut or rip it somehow.

To order, go here: https://goo.gl/forms/xJbgRH5O1eTvO4x42

Dimensions of 6ml Cappy:
- height: 45 mm
- diameter: 17 mm
- capacity: 6 ml
- tube length: 8 cm (cut if needed)

This will stay up until I see things trickling off. Payment will be due when I get word that the product is available, which is estimated to be about 10 days, give or take. Invoices will be sent out through e-mail within 1-2 days after closing the form.

More information on the other Cappy bottles can be found here:
http://sunboxstore.tictail.com/products/accessories/cappy

I would like to get in on the group buy, but don't Facebook. Anybody know if that matters?

Has your government reflected on just how ludicrous the notion is, that vendors various other countries should collect taxes on their behalf? o_O

Cottage pie looked good, @Doffy. How'd it taste?

Yup, I'm hungry :)

good

... that sickly sweet fruit stuffing though... so could have been better

i have a hadaly RDA coming my way. Has an ultem cap :?: but i think the SS will be what i use

[my attempt at being on topic for today... ]

hot and humid today, followed by 70s tomorrow. Weather is all over the shop, so the days in the 100s really burn when we get them this summer

Ok. I can do "on topic." :)

I'm liking the Hadaly. Good flavor. Maybe not as good as Narda, but good. Easy to build, too. Don't know about clouds, though...

i vape unflavoured lol

not a cloud chaser either :?:

i think i like RDA based on air flow, needs just slight resistance for RLH
