1) you only need 1.5mm for nearly every atty

2) Power Tool Tips

Tapatyped

Need shirt bits like for a universal screwdriver. I'd be interested in that 1.5 in our video. That looks like it will work. My hex laden atomizers require 1,1.5,2. So that won't work for the 1mm though.

I'm using a craftsman t6 torx not pictured for the same reason. It fits (and no it doesn't strip) three sizes of hex. I've never seen another torx driver that has the same taper or works the same. Even craftsman don't make it anymore. Bt I figure st some point I should figure a better solution out.

So that said. Where do you source your screws to be sure they're minimum 304 pref 316? There are a lot of scrap metal screws around and since they are in contact with everything I don't want some super cheap plated toxic metal screws that rust or contaminate. I see a lot of screws for sale but it's impossible to know how makes good ones. I don't own a 15k $ material analyzer. This is a big issue with clone tanks for example and something very few seem to consider. It's great to know a body is stainless but what about the screws! They're right next to the heat !
You know, I've had the same cheap screw issue with authentic atties.

The CMII Zenith for one.

And I want to say the cyclone, but I feel like that wasn't it.

Either way, I get mine from McMaster-Carr. I get bundles of 25 to 100 depending on what I'm looking for. Maybe about $10 a pack, but enough to last a while or do a lot of atties.

The fit and finish is always perfect.

Aside from what's mentioned, the bottom is always milled smooth and they don't cut through my coil and between the tools and screws I use, I haven't been able to strip one yet.

Plus the threads are cut perfect which fixes wobbly screws that might back out.

It's just nice to have quality screws and tools on so many levels.

A member or two with MS and/or arthritis have been really appreciative that this setup has given them the freedom to build their own atty again.

So that felt really good to know. :thumb:

What size are the threads?

Might be able to use just 1.5mm tool.

Say if it's a button head screw that takes a 1mm, that would be 2mm threads. All you'd have to do is switch the screws to cap head screws.

If it's a grub, you'd switch to button head.

My vape supplies and tools are all in "my" room now, by which i mean i had to buy a bigger house. Box for the wire and cutters, 6 drawer chest for spares, 5 shelf cabinet for all the mods, chest freezer for the liquid.

What my signature says i 'saved' is optimistic.

Are you using iOS or android ? Plenty of camera apps which allow manual focusing ! I can recommend something easy to use which has better fixed focus than the stock camera if you're on iPhone. Anyway looking good !
Android. Using the Open Camera app on a Moto XT1575. Works well enough most of the time, but not a substitute for a real camera under challenging conditions.

Hex head screws are of the devil.
The tool and die trade doesn't think so. I suspect the problem is cheap screws and/or ill-fitting drivers, as well as users who have no sense of proportion when it comes to how much torque can reasonably be applied to an itty-bitty grub screw.

admittedly, i only use it in challenging conditions, and use default app mostly

paid app, but one time purchase and then you can put it on multiple devices

Things have been good an' slow around here for a bit. I made some reo style contacts over the weekend, and have a triangular dual 18650 (CCV) on the bench right now.

It's SO quiet in here today.

Did you guys know that a real, direct flash can make it look like you too 60 grit sandpaper to your CeeCee?

I promise it doesn't actually look like that!
