Awesome post. Congrats!!

My 7068 stainless arrived yesterday afternoon. I went to the Post Office with battery, juice and atomizer in hand, I knew that I could not wait the twenty-five minutes to get home. I had the Odin 16 set up with broken in RXW at a super low 1.7 Ohm. It’s appearance is beautiful. The workmanship is as near perfect as I can imagine. You have to know that there is seam between the cap and the body, it is actually invisible to an old but experienced eye. A flawless piece of metal work.
I’d send a picture but... My phone is an ancient flip phone, in meetings it is scoffed at. Its “camera” lens got scratched years ago. It won’t take a visible picture. By the way, this message is not being sent by “tap a talk”.
Mounting the atomizer and getting it positioned was easier than I could have imagined. (Thanks to all who discussed and explained that process earlier in the forum.) The installed “O” ring on the cap around the 510 is a brilliant idea. I got the position correct in, literally, seconds. I love full access to the bottle, it made filling easy - no runs, no drips, no errors. The movement of the firing pin, smooth, in the extreme. The contact with the battery is solid. My thought is that due to the firing pin design button mashing may no longer be a problem for me - unless I start on steroids.
After all of that, I have one caution. When you assemble it and get it ready to use, remember to actually put a battery in the thing. I got the bottle filled, atomizer set, finger on button, fire and - nothing. I took it apart, thinking that I needed to do something with the atomizer and its setting in the 510. In my “irrational exuberance”, I forgot to put the battery in the body.
This is a no buyer’s remorse purchase for me. That being said, I am never reading anything Rossum ever writes again. His enabling skill are beyond compare. In his youth, I suspect a seducer.
Very glad you love your first CC
Only problem most CC owners have is wanting more than one ........
