As above, but strange that mods will close any threads regarding Ken's Box Mods for no apparent reason. So I thought of starting a thread to show off his piece of work. Mind you, I do not think it's a piece of art. What it is, is a piece of industrial-quality box mod!! I most certainly think this box mod can withstand any abuse!!

Ive always been leery of box mods for fear of busting them. But i do have my first on the way now as a backup mod ill put through the paces.

Haha... I have always preferred functionality over looks( not that Provari doesn't function!) but I tend to spoil things faster than the average man on the street... :D

2324hrs Singapore time.

Tested with CE2 (2.3ohm) with DK watermelon juice and set voltage @ 4.8v. Hit me like a truck and almost fainted from it. Coming from a VV Ego user, I think most ppl would understand where I'm coming from. As my juices are mostly 11mg nic, it allows me to chain vape to the point where I can feel the warmness of the carto.

Day 2. From 0900hrs ~ 1410hrs.

Abit of light vaping along the way (Due to the wife beside me), nothing has changed much. Still having that gush of warm vapor forcing into my mouth whenever I hit the button.

However, I start to notice abit of stuff along the way... (Not good or bad in anyway, since I've already read alot about Ken's good work.)

1) The BDMM has a cool look with the meter.

2) The BDMM has a cover with 4 magnets @ the back.

3) The BDMM has this plasticky feeling.

4) Once the 2x 18650 batteries are in, you'll quickly realize that this is the sort of stuff you need, when you are in a queue while in the bank, and a robber comes in. Good to conk the robber's head with.

5) The BDMM's back cover managed to fit with the 2x protected 18650 batteries. But only just.

6) Afraid that the cover might fall apart whenever I drop it, I decided to tie it up with a rubber band made from old tires/tyres. (Guys from SG, you know where to get this from. ;))

7) The rubber band gave the BDMM a rugged and industrial look which can only suit me, in my line of work... :D

2000hrs.

My friends saw it, and mentioned that it looks like a small menace (which can be translated as very big!) in my hands.
For ppl who are interested in something small, can look for Ken's Box Mods' Little Sister w/wo vari-cool chips. This Beast of a box mod (Big Daddy Meter Mod) is for ppl who don't mind extra weight on their hands. If you are the sort of person who likes to caculate the preference of your handphone based on weight, erm.... go with Little Sister. I'm not in any way, affiliated to KBM or whatsoever. I live on my side of the world, while Ken lives on the other side.

I vape lightly to moderately for the past 1/2 hour. Glad I didn't use the CE2s again without the tanks. But I can tell you this.

Even with 1.5ohm DCCs + tank + 3.9v = 10.++ watts. TH to me was in a way, strong. Vapor production was massive. Can taste the flavor of butterscotch right off my tongue.

2257hrs.

Took a 10 minute vape session before I hit the bed. Not a fast "huff and puff" pace, but more like a "slow and steady kind. Nevertheless, it still manage to give me a slight headache due to the nic buzz, and with battery still showing no signs of giving up.

Oh well. Good Night, peeps!

Just got my BDVV this morning, but with out the meter and I totally love it. It's a bit bigger and heavier than I had thought and certainly wont win a beauty contest. It hits better than my Darwin and my Ali'i. Although I love my Ali'i. I am only using this monster till the batteries run out so I can see how long they will last me. I am so happy with the Big Daddy and finally feel some satisfaction. I am a very heavy vaporer and so tired of changing bats not with the Darwin of course, but I seldom use that except to check my atty's and carto's. I also have the Little Brother and love it, but this one is smoking and right now it has quickly become #1.

Haha... The "oh-so-familiar" approach to your satisfaction... I'm onto my second day of using this beast... And it is not showing any signs of giving up(who am I kidding? 2x 18650s!!!)
