well it works with a ming:w00t: i'm just waiting for the new rings to get here before i fill it, as the carto slides pretty easy right now

Go ahead and use it ty, if you want. I used one of the ones I received that was a little loose. No leaks at all, and you can screw it on your pv by holding the ming since the ming is so tight in the carto.

Thanks Sallie, I think i'll wait until the rings come in. I got an email that there was something they weren't satisfied with this batch and so they mailed some new rings

Yup, I got the same email for my last two tanks. I used one of them anyway, no leaks, no problem. They just felt they were a little more slippery then they like, but still guaranteed no leaks. They were right, they're fine as is. The new o-rings will make them even better.

It really isn't hard to cut the window and tube. I make them in under an hour. The material that I made mine from was some remnant yard lights. I'd need to appropriate more tubing, but could pump a few out for ECF peeps!

well when your best tool is a butter knife its kind of hard to cut the tube and window...back to trying to cut a tube...well at less i know i will not cut my self if the knife slips

If anyone wants me to cut a window sleeve, I'm willing to do so. You will have to provide the tube. Ship it to me. Add $5 for services and a postage-paid SASE.

The tubes can be bought at Walmart in the Home and Garden goods or sometimes at the dollar store for less than $10. It will look like a LED path light. Buy the one that has a round, metal stake. When you get home, pull the light assembly off the stake. You should be left with a shiny, metal tube. Put that in an envelope. Ship it to me.

After talking to you today I had to try and make one. could not find the LED path light but did find a nice chrome tube for about $17 i think it was a holder in a tub or something. it fits perfect but since i don't have ( yet ) a dremel tool I had to rig every tool in my garage and came up with the folowing , lol
i made 2, painted one in black to match my black SB, not as nice as yours but its a start .
