If the tank is getting really hot, you need to deal with that first. Try either running it at a lower power, or drawing more air through when you fire it. (Also, releasing the fire-button a second before you stop inhaling can help a lot).

If the head heats up, this will cause the air in the tank to expand, and the pressure is going to force more e-liquid down onto the coil.
Unlike some other dripper-tanks (where there is actually a seal that closes when you're not pumping) the big dripper relies on air pressure to keep the liquid in the tank, rather than having it drip through the hole.

but if i use lower watts,i cant get the flavour i want, and the air flow is wide open

Well, that may put you in a tight spot. Make sure you continue to inhale after you let go of the fire button, which will help cool things down.

You might try a single-coil build instead of the duals.

Or, after you vape, hold the mod upside down, so the expanding air will flow through the hole rather than the juice.

There are glass and plastic-tank versions that might work better (since they won't conduct heat as well as a metal tank would).

Experiment a bit with different coils, though; I bet there's a combination out there that will give you the flavor you're looking for without roasting your tank!
