big nasty updates

the new batch of Big Nasty mods have the upgraded contacts... eliminates the problems with the first few runs. the magnets are much stronger and the the copper in the contacts is huge compared to the older ones. i have the upgraded contacts as a replacement. works wonderfully. they also just released a dna 30 module that replaces the bottom switch. maybe about an inch or so longer than the original mod...

i have changed my mind totally about these mods. looks cool,works well.. hmmmm. pricey tho for the whole rig...will update when i get the BFM next week and compare...got a feeling BCV wins hands down (speculation and hope). peace <*}}}>{

Nice, what is BFM and BCV lol. Im on order with the DNA30 add on, I hope I dont regret not just getting the new contacts. Im assuming you can buy an upgrade kit. I guess I need to go check the site again. I am getting Big Nasty voltage drop and Big Nasty hot button as it sits now. Even at .4 to .6.

This is the 4th day with my Big Nasty. Running a .4 ohm build on a Patriot and even though it's not the hardest hitting mod I own (gold V3 Flip takes that honor), it does hit very well. Haven't measured voltage drop but even with a .2 build I didn't have any problems. Not a bad mod, guess I have the upgraded contacts ( #1252). I would say it hits just as hard as my stainless V3 Flip, which is to say, very respectable.
