Big throat hit juices

Posting here because I'm looking for Canadian supplied juices.

2 Weeks in and the big issue is lack of satisfaction due to low throat hit. I used to smoke cherry cigars and even then I used to smoke half and relight it and loved the massive throat hit from relighting a cigar.

I've tried around 7 flavours from canada e juice. mostly 30/70 some 50/50. 18mg. The black cherry gives a slight TH satisfaction. But really the only one that satisfies the craving is Menthol.

I've ordered 12 samples from MLV and am hoping to find something. But so far if it's not menthol it's like sucking air thru a restricted straw and blowing out vapor.

Surely I can't be the only one. Steer me in the right direction.

Funkyvape's Funkjuice uses a 70/30 blend, but most people agree the throat hit on Pearl Necklace is much much higher than other juices. I actually dropped a nic level (to 12 from 18) AND vape it in a Protank to mute the throat hit, because it's super tasty but it hits like a truck.

You could try upping the nic level, but it might make you spinny. I've heard that you can add a few drops of vodka to increase throathit, but I can't condone that since I've never tried it.

Finally, changing your device to something with VV or VW may also allow you to get a stronger hit by upping the voltage.

i think the eroll is your problem I got no t.h when using mine, yet the same juices on a twist with iclear 16's had adequate t.h

Dont think youll get much help with the mlv samples. Their juices are good but have inconsistent throat hits, and are a 50/50 blend which will definitely mute the TH somewhat. Vangrl is right, you need a higher powered device and likely a higher pg ratio in your juice. For me personally, I get a much higher TH from juiceyejuice with slightly less vapour than most juices, leading me to believe that they are using higher than the 66% pg they claim.
The cig alike devices will never give you the power you need, thats why the vast majority of vapers move off them in time.

You can get good TH from unflavored ejuice with the right set up. Don't be too quick to blame the juice.

Try MacMaurier from FlavourCrafters... dress it up with a few drops of your existing black cherry. It is the strongest TH juice I have tried (which does include Pearl Necklace, which I think is much tastier and a far superior vape!)

I agree though, don't be too quick to blame the juice. Then again, you will probably never get a re-lit cigar-like throat hit from vapor. You should be thankful for that

For good TH try, upping the PG, also crystal eliquids has a rather strong cherry tobacco and Halo Captain Jack.

More power should help as well, as in an Eco-c twist or a Vamo, SVD or a zmax v3.

Nic level helps as well. 18 or 24 should suffice.

before you go out and buy any more hardware, go back to where you got your e-roll and see if they have LR(low resistance) heads.
that may get you some of the throat hit that you are looking for.

it wont kick the back of your throat, but its a cheaper start.

too late. Got an Itaste VV/VW on it's way.

Got my MLV stuff yesterday and was pretty much underwhelmed. Some strong "flavour" there. But not what I was looking for(TH).

So thinking it's mainly a hardware issue.

I read that lower resistance heads would help so I bought some for my eroll, I personally noticed no difference in T.H. I bought the eroll for better public appearance, but I never took it out with me because of the lack of T.H satisfaction. Again, same juices in a clearo on my twist have lots of T.H.

You'll be good with the itaste, up to 5 volts, that thing will rock out the TH your looking for, for easy set ups I've found the vapeonly bcc to rock on that thing, but you'll be good with most new equipment on it, top coils have more heat - that increaes TH (the bcc is bottom coil but the heat is still great, only a little less than my vivi novas), RBA's will give the most "bang" with the right coil - but one thing at a time - the itaste is a great upgrade from your eroll

Agree with most comments concerning TH improvement.

When I have a cold, and want to power through it, all things being equal (hardware,ejuice,resistance,pg/vg), Menthol or Cinnamon (in a glass tank of course) is a great TH booster!
