Kinda tired of the Joe haterz out there.

What Joe haterz out there??? I've not seen them. I've seen one or two people express an opinion on this thread. Other than that I've not seen much "out there" about Joe's blog other than people recommending it. I think we need to keep things in perspective here.
Yeah, I've used a couple good coupon codes off his blog. Handy resource. Not my shopping manual, but I check it from time to time and some of the deals are good for me.

You go to his section to find deals on things that you have researched already. Joe isn't telling you what to buy or what is great or the must have items, he's simply trying to find you the best deals on everything and is assuming that YOU will be knowledgeable about what you are buying. Jeez people, it's like coupons, just because you see a coupon on something doesn't mean you have to go out and buy it! Good grief! Sometimes people just need to get a clue!!! Do your homework people!

well.. you could have said that nicer. we are a friendly forum here. but basically you are almost correct. I know a LOT of people who buy things because they are on sale or they have a coupon for them. if you ever watch the show, most of the people on Extreme couponing are overweight because most of the things you get coupons for are not healthy to eat in that amount.

Perhaps Joe needs to emphasize the need to do research on the products he finds. Although, that will probably not cut the number of people who feel betrayed by even half. You seem to be the same type of person I am. Research, then look it up and then research before you buy something. :)

Believe me kena, I WAS being nice :) Some people will argue with a brick wall and no matter what you say, they will just continue to argue. That was me being as nice about this specific thread as I possibly could be.

Lets be nice here or the thread gets closed.

As far as I can tell, he posts 'deals' or sales.

Keep this in mind regarding any reviewer -

1. Some reviews are paid for by the vendor and therefore may not represent a truly independent view of the product. In some cases they are a form of advertising - and adverts don't tell you what is wrong with the product.
2. Reviewers' websites may contain affiliate links, and an enthusiastic review might lead you to click a link and then purchase the product. This results in paying a fee to the reviewer (called an affiliate commission). While most reviews may be accurate and independent, we cannot guarantee this is always the case.
3. Honest reviews always flag up faults - because no product is perfect.
4. No review of a brand new product just received by a reviewer can be considered accurate: faults may not show up for a few days.

Respectfully as others have stated on here, stop reading/listening to Joe and stop ordering from Fasttech. Problems solved and you've averted that vein in your forehead popping out. :p

Yes you are correct and that is exactly what I plan to do. Maybe Fast Tech will straighten out the shipping problems but, it appears they are going to move prices higher. After the Kanger sell out they have increased the price 12%. If you purchase it now and add in USPS shipping with tracking it cost about $11.00 and who knows when you will get it. The same tank with extra coils (in typical fast tech fashion it is not pictured or clear if the extra coils are included) can be purchased from a US vendor for $14.05. For three dollars I can have it this week. I don't like guessing at what I am buying or when I will receive it. Dependability is more important than price so I will for the most part take your advice. I may still make a token Fast tech order from time to time and if I see the shipping starts happening within 48hours for an item that lists ships in 24hours... That is close enough for me.

Paying for increased shipping speed on items listed as ships in 24hours and 8 days later they have not shipped is not close enough!

I also fully understand Vaperjoe listings can be for the lowest price untested garbage on the market. As long as it is the lowest price it's all good.

Go back a few posts, find the one I made linking last night's Click Bang show and start it at around 14 min 30 sec then listen to that. You'll see what I'm talking about. I wasn't accusing anyone on this forum of being a Joe hater. If I felt that someone posting here was I would have replied with quote.

I have no problem speaking my mind and/or confronting people head on about their opinions in a civil manner :)

That's why I asked you about "out there', meaning not on this forum. Sorry but I don't usually listen to click bang and don't have time to now just to listen to some negative thing that happened. His blog is pretty well liked. It's just a cheap deals blog. Most of the time I pass on the deals but occasionally something is what I'm after. I've been dropping in to read his blog for some time. I haven't seen "haters" in that time actually. "Haters" is an emotive word - anyone expressing a strong opinion gets called a "hater" and sometimes that detracts from their actual point or argument. That there are a few critics I don't doubt, but haters?? Strong word that is very subjective.

I read Joe's blog to find out the Cheapest Price for specific items. I have already done my research and decided that I want a specific item. If I decide to buy a piece of crap, Joe's blog will tell me where I can buy that piece of crap for the least amount of money. He is not endorsing, no recommending. kid of like the the Slickdeals of the E-cig marketplace.
