I recently ordered a starter kit and extras from Halo. For now the regular batteries will be just fine for me, but I know that at some point I'll want a larger battery, at least for home use. I'll want it to be 510 compatible to continue using with the atomizers and cartridges I'm getting, and I won't want to spend a lot on a very large device, all new chargers, etc.

I'm not looking for something cigar sized or that lasts days on end without charging. Just something that would last about twice as long between charges as an 180 mAh battery but that would physically fit into the Halo chargers and work without damaging the battery or the charger.

Can anybody recommend a good battery that is 510 compatible, reasonably inexpensive, and that is proven to work with Halo's chargers? Preferably one that is 9.2mm wide (approximately), length not important (I'm assuming a longer life battery that isn't wider will have to be longer). Color isn't important either, in fact I'd prefer anything but white. I'm not in a hurry to order just yet, but at some point in the future.

Chargers are specific to the battery for the small tube sized batteries such as a regular 510 as you have. You might be able to charge a 510 XL with your charger but it's really not that much of an improvement. You will have to get a different charger or just stay with what you have.

The closes to a "cigar sized" PV (personal vaporizer) with a better battery (650 mAh - 1000 mAh) but unfortunately still a 3.7 volt battery would be the eGo or Riva 510. They are good starter PV's. I would check out Liberty Flights (20% off button in upper left hand corner of home page). I am assuming you are using manual batteries and not auto batteries. You want to stick with the manual batteries, always.

If you want one of the best bettery battery PV's, then I would suggest looking at the 5 volt GLV2 from Great Lakes Vapor. A 5 volt battery over a 3.7 volt battery is a significant upgrade in performance. The GLV2 is built to last forever and has hundreds of loyal customers. It's the size of a large cigar.
