Working on a 2.0 ohm 26ga kanthal build on the RSST on my Provari and the E1 errors and E8 errors are flying at me faster than I can possibly keep up with! Then I figured out what was wrong and felt completely ashamed of myself for having made such an idiotic mistake, being a self titled Genesis expert.

Props to the first person who can figure out my idiotic mistake! haha good luck!

Hello,

It is you are using the word "vaping career" in the title of this thread.

There is no such thing as vaping career. The most you have is a vaping hobby sans the glaring mistake in the built.

Sorry to burst your bubble.

Cheers

but...but...but what if he owns a vape shop and was building for a customer (which he subsequently lost, lol)...

No slight to OP, just making dumb jokes.:p

I know whats wrong your using a provari.

I will admit that I too was tempted to give that answer.
However, I am all too aware of the ramifications to to making such a comment.
You may need to sleep with one eye open from now on.
If we never see you post on ECF again we know what happened.
Good luck friend and may the gods be with you.

Haha I think the first responder knows what it was, but none of you guys actually have it right so far.

Hint: It has nothing to do with the wires. Guess again!

I literally spotted it instantly, but it obv helps to own an RSST, now consider the fact that i'm pretty sure there are gennies (not my cup of tea) out there with non-insulated wick holes...

That is CLASSIC!!! How long did you say it took you to figure out the problem?

Probably a good 20 minutes lol.

And I'm pretty sure you all know what I mean by vaping career. It's just what I call it. If you guys want to call it hobby, great, if you all want to call it career great. Definitely missed the point of the thread though haha

It's obvious you like watching the blinkenlights.

And there's a reason why the "wick" hole is insulated from the rest of the device. :p

The seasoned pro retired1 takes the cake! Haha and yes, I did enjoy the blinking lights at first, both on the coil and on the Provari. Thanks for participating all.

The built is 13 wraps or so of 26 GA kanthal on a hollow #500 mesh wick. 2.0 ohms, vapes at 5.2 volts at the moment. I can't figure out if I prefer 26 or 28 more on the RSST. The 26 GA takes a long time to heat up. I'm thinking about trying ribbon soon
