I believe that's for the Canadian screening(s) only, DC2.
I may do the Laemmle, and possibly the Dome as well. I don't believe there's an after party for the screenings at the Laemmle tho.

The Second Wave
People always ask "How can I help fight?"
I always responded: "We don't need money, we just need you to help get the word out."
Sadly, the launch showings above aren't going to be enough to wake up the media and politicians. We need more, or they will dismiss this message as a "niche film".
Thankfully, our supportive community is planning a second wave of theater showings and in the next couple days we have to demonstrate adequate demand for the movie (and our message) or they won't be approved by the theaters.
I hate to ask, but it's really important
In the US alone, there are about 70 screenings that can only happen if we get enough tickets reserved. Some only have a couple days left before the deadline so it can be shown before the US elections.

Oh and I tried to call the cinemas for verification, pricing etc, but just got the VM, either they don't answer the phone, or they aren't open for matinees. But it said a mgr will call me back

And the Regal 12 Carlsbad is my favorite theater of all time.

So I called the manager of Regal 12 and he denied any knowledge of the event.
Apparently that's because it's a private event.
Or else he stupid and had no idea what is going on at his own theater.
Which I kinda doubt, but not sure yet.
So I called Feels Good Vapor, and they will see if they can accommodate me.
I sure hope so, and if I do say so myself I deserve it.
And God knows I don't want to drive up to Los Angeles in Friday traffic to see it.
Although I would do so, if I didn't have this other choice.

I would have no problem helping to coordinate one in my area but, I just don't know enough people in this area to even try to get enough up for a showing.If it does end up within an hours drive from me, I will be there.
Yes. I noticed the one in Austin this morning. I know a person there that quit vaping (back to smoking) a few years ago. Thinking about trying to get him to that showing.

Do you have vape stores near you? Talk to them if you can and see if they can assist by talking it up to their customers. Any customers who have friends/family that smoke are think vaping is awful, they need to take em to see it, and try to get any politicians to see it if they can.
How can Orlando sell out and Atlanta (Kennesaw) is still less than half way to getting the 100 minimum? Still encouraging to see it drop from needing 80 to just 54 when I I just refreshed the page.

Still have 15 days... And why 100 during prime movie time? Have been to several early afternoon movies where the wife and I were the only one in the theater! Once even had to go back out and remind them to turn the projector on. Seems that 46 or even 20 paid customers would be better than two. Or a dollar amount minimum, saw a post complaining about the high cost in some city. Atlanta is only 12 bucks, why not a higher cost until the thresh hold is reached?

NOT that I wouldn't love the op of seeing you again, but I DO hope you can get into the Carlsbad screening.
I'll be at one (or more) of the LA showings, for sure. Perhaps even the grand Premiere at the Dome!
