That would have been someone else rating it... I don't rate my own stuff. Lol. And I don't make public recipes that are crap.
Bird brains is essentially fruity COPYRIGHTDMCA.. with milk from what I recall. Very similar to Fruit loops recipes but with berry crunch cereal added. Fruit circles at 7% is a bit much though. 2% Meringue (FA)
Flavor total: 10%
Pick yer poison, as they say. I can't venture a real opinion about any of them, but knowing Cuttwood, it's probably a closer match with one of the complex ones.
I could tell it certainly wouldn't be disgusting! You probably got dinged by a fan who thought you didn't use enough flavoring. Or maybe it was a mouse-click accident. It's not nice to rate low without commenting!
I felt the same way, and even worse about the YouTube recipe. I'm pretty sure 8% FW Fruit Rings would make that into a perfect Lemon Pledge Meringue pie.
I'd go with Rin's, myself, but you have to remember I'm biased towards using lower flavoring levels. I'm sure I'd like it just fine, especially since I never tried the retail version! I don't have TFA Fruit Rings, but I could substitute the FW version since she calls for only 0.25% (or just drop it and bump Silly Rabbit to 3%), and I don't have the One-on-one Cream, but a half-point of FA Fresh Cream would probably sub it nicely.
Yeah, I don't know. That recipe is fairly old. I don't really pay attention to ratings. If I like a recipe, I share it. I'm picky as hell.
I liked it, yes. But some of the flavors can be sub'd IMO... I Sub half the crap I use when basing something off of someone else's recipe. Fruit Circles of some sort is necessary... Berry Crunch is helpful... the creams don't much matter as long as it's something you like. You're looking for a sweet milk note there.
