Birdsnest Elixirs is a new vendor to the eliquid market, but the owner has been around the juice block for a few years now, and has finally opened a shop offering some of the finest juices around! Many of you probably know the owner from here at ECF, by chatting with her in forum threads and reading and enjoying her previous juice reviews. I'm unsure if ECF rules allow me to mention her old username, now that the account is a supplier account? So, for now I'll just leave it at this, she's been around for a while tasting and reviewing juices while looking for that perfect flavor, and is now ready to offer her own handcrafted artisan elixirs for your enjoyment!

Birdsnest Elixirs was officially started in late 2013 and was born out of a passion for creating the best e-liquids for those whose highest concern is flavor and quality. All of our liquids are made to order, and we mix responsibly with our customers' health in mind, as well as our own. We are passionate about creating complex and unique flavors from the finest ingredients available, and all of our flavors are diacetyl free. We believe that the complexity of our flavors sets us apart from the rest. We do not release basic or one dimensional flavors, even if they taste good. All of our flavors are multi-layered and unique in their own right. Each flavor goes through rigorous testing before it becomes available to our customers, and we even involve our customers in this process. If we wouldn't vape it, neither will you

Birdsnest Elixirs was kind enough to send over a sample of each flavor in their lineup for review. The samples arrived in a padded envelope (I'm sure the large glass bottles will be boxed don't worry!) Inside the package the elixirs were wrapped in thick gift/party parchment, sealed with a twine twist, and finally adorned with a Birdsnest feather to make the package complete!

Smooth and satisfying pipe tobacco blend with a bold punch juicy ripe orange, a subtle hint of anise followed by a touch of vanilla to round things out a bit.
VG/PG Ratio: 50/50 - Vapor Production: Thick - Flavor Strength: Bold - Throat Hit: Medium

Recommended Steep Time: Allow about 2 weeks for flavor profile to develop completely
Throat hit - @ 6mg I rarely notice any TH anymore, unless something is overly harsh, which this is not
Vapor production - 9/10
Flavor strength - 8/10

Overall Opinion - Smooth and fruity, very intriguing! Pipe style tobacco flavor with hints of orange and mysterious hints of "this and that" poking around. The back-notes are so interesting to me that it's hard to distinguish what any of the lesser supporting flavors might be, and I'm sure there is a note or two unmentioned. I can taste the orange, but it's mixed so well with all the other flavors it's not what I would call an overpowering "Orange Tobacco" at all (For anyone concerned that it may just be an "Orange Tobacco"). On inhale you can feel the smoothness of the pipe tobacco aspect uniquely mixed with soft notes of sweet oranges, and then on exhale you get a light vanilla with hints of smooth aged anise. Amongst all that smoothness and you almost forget what that initial inhale tasted like, so of course, you have to take another drag!

I'm not a fan of tobacco, at all, but surprisingly I could vape this as it doesn't have a "Fake" or chemical type non-tobacco taste to it, and there is no hay/grass either! I'd call this one the pipe flavor of royalty!

An intoxicating burley tobacco blend featuring the bold flavor of bourbon. But we didn't stop there... hazelnut and blueberry playfully dance around in the mid-notes adding to your vaping pleasure. Designed to be an "All Day Vape" for those who want a satisfying but not overpowering flavor.

VG/PG Ratio: 50/50 - Vapor Production: Thick - Flavor Strength: Medium - Throat Hit: Medium

Recommended Steep Time: Allow about 10 days for flavor profile to develop completely
Throat hit - @ 6mg I rarely notice any TH anymore, unless something is overly harsh, which this is not
Vapor production - 8.5/10
Flavor strength - 6.5/10

Overall Opinion -
Semi-dark tasting, slightly woody bourbon tobacco flavor right up front, followed up with hints of nuttiness in the background. The blueberry is light, and doesn't show up for me sometimes until after vaping it for a few minutes, then mysteriously after a few vapes I can taste it in my mouth and on exhales. Often I think I taste a hint of coffee as well, but that may be due to hazelnut reminding me of having a cup? No matter, hidden flavors peaking out from time to time always provide an interesting vape!

To me this is a "dry-type" vape, not overly sweetened either (if at all). That hazelnut-bourbon aspect is oh so smooth and satisfying! I'd imagine all fans of tobacco would enjoy Fanfare!

A delicate and sophisticated green tea with nuances of strawberry and lychee.

PG/VG Ratio: 55/45 - Vapor Production: Thick - Flavor Strength: Bold - Throat Hit: Medium

Recommended Steep Time: Allow about 7 days for flavor profile to develop completely
Throat hit - @ 6mg I rarely notice any TH anymore, unless something is overly harsh, which this is not
Vapor production - 9/10
Flavor strength - 8.5/10 (Very bright and aromatic flavor!)

Overall Opinion -
Lyric is sweet, intricate and delicate, a real winner for any tea or fruit fan! Green tea, possibly with a pinch of honey, followed by a bright and crisp lychee swirled with a slightly sweet strawberry. I almost think I taste a hint of kiwi as well, but that may just be the lychee. I have noticed some care needs to be taken when using this one in a tank, it tends to toast/darken easier than I would have expected. So, it's probably enjoyed at lower voltages or higher ohms, that way you're not ruining the delicate flavor halfway through a tank with partially darkened juice.

Lyric is such a sweet treat, notes of tea and tropical elation will have you calm and relaxed in no time as you enjoy each vape!

A blended coffee that is not overpowering. Warm, rich hazelnut balances the robust coffee with a touch of vanilla swirled in to further soften everything a bit. A dash of wintertime spices were mixed in to make this your go to morning treat without the calories. This flavor is meant to be a softer take on coffee.

VG/PG Ratio: 50/50 - Vapor Production: Thick - Flavor Strength: Medium - Throat Hit: Light

Recommended Steep Time: Allow about 2 weeks for flavor profile to develop completely
Throat hit - @ 6mg I rarely notice any TH anymore, unless something is overly harsh. I do notice this one is very smooth, so probably less TH for all nic ratios compared to the other flavors
Vapor production - 9.5/10
Flavor strength - 7.5/10

Overall Opinion -
Maestro, simply the best coffee vape I have ever tasted, without a doubt!! The coffee tastes like a medium type roast to me, and mixes together with the vanilla and hazelnuts perfectly! Interestingly nutty, I taste a roasted hazelnut and a hint of a greener fresh one as well. I'm almost sure I detect a hint of cinnamon/clove in there as well. Maestro accomplishes all that while not being overly sweetened or dark/burnt tasting, as many coffee vapes tend do with one, the other, or both. The vape is intensely flavored, yet remains insanely smooth.

This is definitely not your average "Cup of Joe" Testing this has been such a treat! Maestro is coffee at it's finest, all coffee fans must try!

Birsdnest Elixirs currently only offers 4 juice flavors, which I see as a bonus, you don't have to look through a hundred juices trying to find which flavors sound good to you. I'm sure they will be offering a few more flavors soon, some of which are already publicly mentioned as in development and testing on their coming soon section. They do have contests from time to time, and also have a permanent ECF discount coupon for the loving community here at ECF.

Each flavor description mentioned what the standard PG/VG ratio is, but currently they do not offer direct adjustable PG/VG ratios. However, in their FAQ it does mention that they will work with customers on ratios via order comments, but they do suggest for best flavor to try the standard formulation first. All Birdsnest elixirs are made of the highest quality ingredients USP VG, USP PG, USP Nicotine, and only the highest quality natural/artificial flavorings. They do not added colorings, and there is no alcohol or distilled water in their liquids, maybe DW could be requested in a higher VG ratio(?). All flavors are Diacetyl free!

All elixirs are currently priced at $22.00 for 30ml, and they also offer a 4 x 5ml sampler for $15. Currently first time customers will receive 20% off their first order using coupon code "WELCOME!" at checkout, and they also have Twitter and Facebook discounts mentioned on-site as well.

Stop in and try them out today, I'm certain you will be impressed as I've been, these juices are exceptionally remarkable!
