Birthday perks from Addictionejuice!!!

Who doesn't like getting gifts on their birthday? We want to thank you for your business, and for this we want make you feel special on your big day!

I have come up with an idea, and you tell me what you think. Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated!

For our customers (those who have ordered from us, and or order before their birthdays) simply either scan your drivers license or take a picture of it, with your name matching the name that is on the paypal account and your birthday being legable, and we will send you a free 15ml on your birthday!

If this is something that you folks would want to do, I have opened another new email address, birthdays@addictionejuice.com just simply send picture as an attachment, and put your birthday on the subject line with the strength and flavor you want your free bottle in the email, and we will make a note of it, and send you a free bottle! Shipping is on us, of course!

I don't think I'd be sending ANYONE a copy of my personal driver's license on the internet. I don't think that's a wise idea for people to do.

Considering everything that is on the drivers license, I already have, (your address etc) what would be the issue?


Minus the fact of your DL number, which you are more then welcome to black it out.

Thank you for that input Lucky, I would not of thought about the dl # if it wasn't for you.

The whole idea of asking people their input was to see if people would be interested in this or not.

Some people maybe up for it. Some may not. Trial and error here.

It is - quasi-legal - at best to hold a copy of someone's DL. I think the only ones who are able to hold something of that nature are your employers for the benefit of the I-9 form (proof of ID and right to work in the US).

Even when I test-drive a car, I ask for the copy they made of my DL back.....this is a legal document, recognized as Proof of Identity, and isn't supposed to be photocopied....

Well, if you can come up with some other way for proof of birthday, I would love to hear it. Cause whos to say that I say tomorrow is my birthday? I would hate for people to take advantage of it/us.

We are trying to offer something that I believe no other supplier does.

I think it's a nice touch. good form of customer appreciation etc. But I'd also have a problem sending a facsimile of any form of personal ID.

If you could come up with a different means of verification...

Do you ask for proof of age when new customers sign up to buy your products? Keep a file on that......sure, there will be some who give you a false date, but they can't give you more than one...

We've placed our order, but there is a Chinese holiday going on - Labor Day which they say is celebrated just like New Years over here, so I assume they are not working right now, and maybe back in the office on Monday. Lets hope anyways.



The main reason for opening this thread, was to get input from everyone here on this idea, and we accept any and all input. I guess I need to think of a different form of birthday verification. Any suggestions?

You know what I just thought of?

We could even do it for "birthday of joining ECF" That can not be altered by anyone, and it has proof. Which is viewable in your public profile by anyone.

So it could be your ECF birthday? But, you have to be a previous customer.

Use the current birthday's that are listed on the home page for that day as reference. These are the birthday's we gave when we joined ECF & we all had to give one. Just let it be known the member has to send you PM like 3 days before or after their BD.

Hope you get it figured out, my BD is Tuesday, good chance to try the "new" shipment.
