Black Anodized RBA?

I recently purchased some black kayfun 3.1 clones that were black. After a second tank was run through them, I noticed that the paint that they used on the chimney was bubbling and peeling. Yikes! I ended up scraping it all off with my thumbnail and pocket knife. Why in the hell they painted the chimney in the first place beats the hell out of me.

Anyway,the paint is now chipping off on the outside of the RBA. Does anyone know where I can find black anodized (or some other process that will last) RBA? I would prefer authentic but clones will work as well as long as it's not from fasttech. I don't want to have to wait on the slow boat from China.

That sounds awful! I am glad you spotted it!

I hear people getting them off ebay, but I cant vouch for their quality.

I am a fasttech lover, so I would always say buy from there. Shipping time really is not bad at all now, that is as long as you select 'registered china post' from the 'more shipping options'.
Last order (June) only took 8 days from order to being in my hand here in the UK, so I am sure it shouldn't be too long a wait for you in Florida.
