Quality black 26650 mech?

No painted threads, good paint job, locking ring, no mandatory hybrid top cap. Is there one?

King v2 26650 clone: First one I found that seemed at first to meet the criteria but reviewer after reviewer is saying the paint job is horrible, chips off if you look at it funny, darn!

Hades by Footoon? I lucked out with a pretty high quality clone when I first ventured into mechs, non painted threads, solidly built, nice and heavy metal, not the plastic-y feel of some of the others Hades I've handled at B&Ms(usually the copper or two tone gold or silver lock ring/510 cap versions have this feel), all black. The biggest con with mine would be the switch, it can begin to unscrew to the point of coming off, causing a potentially dangerous auto fire. This happened one time and one time only, the first day I had it while it was in the cup holder of a car on a bumpy road, but once I was aware of the issue and with responsible lock ring use it hasn't happened since. I prefer to use the spring instead of the magnets in the switch, and the one that came with mine is strong enough to support the weight of the mod unlocked(Haha I know I just said responsible lock ring use, but I know this from a curiosity test) with a 28.5mm RDA on top. Though the screw in switch doesn't make it the most mobile friendly mod, I do thoroughly enjoy it at home when in the mood to use a 28.5 mm RDA, and the top cap has a slightly raised 22mm platform to accommodate standard size drippers and tanks, which is where I've found the mod really shines, not always in looks but definitely performance wise. Unfortunately I don't have a link as it was bought offline, but id imagine it might be possible to find a vendor with one of the non-cheapo versions using the above info.

The Brass Monkee mod comes with 3 tubes, one of which is black. It also comes with 2 top caps (one regular and one for 22mm attys) and an atty of its own (which you don't have to use if you don't want to, it's not a hybrid). It's a good mod, I've got one and like it quite a bit.
