...if none of those vendors offer stainless steel(they are the same manufacturers we get all of ours from), the black is just a wrapper on the carto...this can be removed as stated above...after removal, clean the outside of the carto with acetone(nail polish remover) or some other solvent being careful not to get in the carto filler...OR, just give 'em a try as is.........

I have a bunch what I've been doing is pulling off the sticker the soak them in 4oz of hot water from my one cup coffee maker for a few minutes then the sticky left over peals right off pretty easy, then I blow it out they don't get as wet as you'd think they would. and my next batch I ordered are in silver.

I, personally, would not want to vape tank juice that contained a carto with painted black glued paper on it. It might be safe, but I would not take the chance.....the glue, paint, or paper could have a toxic substance in it that dissolves in liquid. After all, these cartos are coming from a country that is known to make products with lead paint and other toxic chemicals. If you can't safely eat their baby food, why would you want to vape their glue?

I *think* it has something to do with how old they are, but I had mixed results removing the labels. Sometimes they would just peel right off intact, but others they would leave all the glue behind. The latter case is a real ..... to get clean.

A trick I found was to use an old 510 battery as a "cartomizer bit" in a drill. Then, you can put isopropyl alcohol or an orange solvent on a rag, hold it around the cartomizer, and pull the trigger. Let the drill do the work. :)
