Black Clearos?

Hi everyone,

I'm pretty new to vaping and have been searching around for an answer to my question without any luck. But does any manufacturer currently make a subohm tank that has a black (or non-stainless steel) finish?

I like the look of the Black Russian 91 in black however I have a gen Kayfun lite and really don't like RBA style tanks. I have an aspire Atlantis and a subtank nano and I love both of those tanks I just wish they came in a more discreet finish (i.e. Black).

Also in case you're wondering I would run it on a MVP 3.0.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Most if not all the subtanks I know of ( which may not be all of them) are not suitable for a hybrid mech mod as their 510's are not adjustable.

Hello and welcome to posting on the forum.

To answer your question, not yet. All the ones I have seen are stainless steel. As to using subΩ clearomizer tanks on a SMPL mod, I agree with @Wolfenstark.

Thanks for the replies. Yes. I usually use my dark horse RDA on the mech but I have used my aspire with it on few occasions and checked to make sure the battery wasn't venting. So far have not had any issues but most likely will use the MVP for all clearos.

As Susan said most only clear tanks. I did see some black ones on fast tech but people saying they don't fit , so I wouldn't get one.

Thanks for the replies. I'm so surprised nobody has made something like this of decent quality since there are so many different looking mods on the market of every shape, color, and size.

I know it's a superficial request but I just don't like the chromed-out look of most hardware it makes me feel like a Saudi oil sheik when I'm vaping.

The Delta 2 now comes in Black. Looks really good and if you decide to make your own coils, you can purchase a rebuildable coil for it.

I saw that too, the only thing is it's basically a Kayfun clone correct? I have a Kayfun lite and maybe it's my lack of experience but the thing leaks like crazy and I absolutely hate it!

I was hoping to find an idiot-proof tank like an Atlantis or subtank but in black.

I did also see that some skin manufacturers do sell skin wraps for certain tanks however it only covers the Pyrex glass and not the steel portion. To me that's totally counterproductive!

Im thinking of titanium carbo nitride coating my Atlantis just to see how it looks. There's a company locally that I've used before to coat firearms parts. If I end up doing it I'll post some pics.
