ok so i have a stainless steel turtleship, a brass stingray and now i really want to expand my collection with a copper mod. i love the quality and versatility of my stingray and i think the black copper version looks absolutely incredible. the overall consensus is that copper mods hit harder due to the conductivity. i was wondering if the black paint/coating on the outside of the black copper stingray takes away from the conductivity of the copper. if it does then i will gladly go with something else like the copper vanilla or copper nemesis.

The increased interest in voltage drop is funny to me. If you want a copper sting ray, get one. It looks hella cool. Why continue to justify it? My M16 hits hard, but so does my bolt.

im not a huge fan of voltage drop either i think its just a gimmick for people to feel superior then others but i do think that how hard a copper mod hits vs a stainless mod is noticeably different. and if I'm gonna shell out the money for yet another mod i want it to be worth it

I have the black copper stingray clone by Hcigar & it hits harder then my brass and stainless mod but not my full copper mod with silver plated copper contacts. The authentic black copper stingray has silver plated pins so does the infinite version, but some of the one's out have issues with the 18650 tube being to short. The paint comes off pretty easy even on the authentic so I had mine clear wrapped & both the clones and authentic has a crunchy button, so it can be a pain to take a part and clean often, and the firing button can get stuck in or out.

Lower voltage drop is more enjoyable to some and lengthens your battery life. From a performance point of view, it's completely understandable.
