Black junk on RBA coil?

I had this coil for a week and when removing it my fingers were covered in black stuff. I assume its burnt juice but not sure, seems really nasty to me.


PS: Sorry if most of my posts are health concerns but I am a hypochondriac. This with a combination of wick separation and wire taste is kinda turning me off on RBAs and even vaping in general. It's a shame because I just got a really cool brass nemesis mod.

im not sure, but id guess its just gunk from the juice. im having a similar problem with my evod heads i went to clean one and it had some sort of a black solid stuck to the coils and wick

it's probably the burnt sweetener- sycrlose or what ever is being used to sweeten the e-liquid!!!

look at a fan in a window or a ceiling fan after a summers season

in my experience the juice burns clean unless flavored with sugars rarity..

lol keep it clean, I clean every night usually -- I do get lazy every now and then but rarely any black gunk like when i 1st started and cleaned once a week or two..

My guess would be sweet(sugar, sweetner type stuff) or estra thick juice with a lot of different flavors. Simple unsweet juice =
clean atty heads.

When in doubt dry burn!

It will be as clean as I was when I went to the malte shope!

ill give you my cart cleaning i soak over night in water rinse under tap in morn
I made a spin dryer out of a sharpie marker cap and a long shoe string tied to it
I wedge the cart in there tightly fitted with a q-tip shaft and spin it fast then i dry burn until glowing red

clean as a whistle takes less than 3 mins..

rba i soak in alcohol and leave on paper towel to air dry
i use ss cable its always clean but it gets a new coil every two days of use
the cap is cleaned every tank in a rba
and the cap is usually uber dirty if i go outside with it

Ok, I didn't glamorize it but yeah, my method you dont have to pulse the battery forever
2 times pulse glowing red three pulses and done
his method is way up at 7-11 or more pulses still gewd tasty cart results
but it's why I figured use a spinning sharpie pen cap
