Is C2C treating you right? I've only used them a few times and haven't had to return anything. Hopefully they aren't giving you a hassle...
I actually ordered mine from RTD, and they have always had great customer service. I once received a faulty battery charger from them and they gave me an advanced RMA. I was very pleased.
I checked out my friends today and his looks exactly like this.How is the paint on y'all's mods? I received mine the other day and the main tube was Peggy scratched up and the paint was really thin.... Im returning it today to get a replacement, hopefully the new one doesnt have the same issue.
Other than that, the mod has been fairly decent. I dont have an issue with the button coming off, but the top magnet would keep unscrewing every other time I would switch batteries.
Mine does not look like that at all! That thing has been through a war!
Here's a few photos I just took of mine, after about a week or so of regular use. Hasn't been outta the house, mind you, and I DO baby all my gear. Still though, if I got one that looked as rough as what you guys are dealing with, I'd for sure ask for a replacement.

Mine has been reduced to home-only use. The black is scratching way too easily. Little mini scratches just from riding in my bag (old camera bag with inner side pockets - soft, but Velcro at the top). I was putting it in there solo, or on occasion with my Hybrid Elite and Magneto, and I'm very disappointed. Thank goodness I found out before spending the money on a Phiniac that I was planning on to match it up.

i almost got one. but damn that black finish rubbing/scraping off is mega troublesome. i cant do it. i think instead im gonna wait for a 26650 or a 26500 clone to spice up my arsenal.
but anyone with a pvd may want to look into the brass kracken. that is what i woulda got for mine if i was gonna get it. and also a black dripper. that keracote stuff looks slick.
