Just got it 15 minutes ago. What a beauty! And sooo small. I thought it was almost the size of my BSB, but is closer to the size of my BB. Tried it at 3.7 and works great. 6v has to wait till I get home. Loving it so far. Chad, Rob..... Awesome job guys!

I ordered a black omega 10 mins ago. I was really torn between the Buzz, the V3, and the SB/BB, but sheer looks won me over, and I haven't heard anything bad about the SB line (compared to Prodigy's line)

1. Is there any type of safety device to prevent this from firing in my pocket?
2. I have some TR15270 3.0v unprotected batteries. Will I be the only dummy using these?

I wouldnt use those batts at all.. spend a few bucks and be safe!

They are both Tenergy but I don't think the ones you linked to are protected.
Those are what I've been using in my BSB for the past 10 months. I chose them because of their safer LiFePO4 chemistry.
I believe they still have the protection circuits.
