I ordered a black omega 10 mins ago. I was really torn between the Buzz, the V3, and the SB/BB, but sheer looks won me over, and I haven't heard anything bad about the SB line (compared to Prodigy's line)

Questions:

1. Is there any type of safety device to prevent this from firing in my pocket?
2. I have some TR15270 3.0v unprotected batteries. Will I be the only dummy using these?

I have the answer on the safety device as this worried me as well. I just received my silver veined Omega. Looks great, vapes great, and like you I was torn between pretty much the same PVs. The slight indents left by the paint process makes a really nice grip.

All in all, I'm just really impressed.

Anyway, I had watched the Youtube videos of the device and I simply slid a slightly oversized o-ring onto the PV. It fits snuggly on the device and the gauge is a bit bigger than the switch travel so that it while it doesn't actually lock the switch, it makes it damned hard to set off. I suppose it could be possible but you'd have to mash the ever living crap out of it.

I wish I could tell you an exact size o-ring but I got it out of one of those assortment packs.

Yea I was thinking about some sort of o-ring. Also, I thought about bending an allen wrench and (using the pre-existing screw-holes lol), creating an "L" shaped lock.

After using it for a week, I'm not so worried about about it misfiring. I actually treat it with a LOT more respect than I would a standard sized PV or even my cell phone. When I have my 801 attached, it looks like bullets or ... should be coming out of it. I certainly wouldn't point it at a person - and it get's cleaned daily.

Looking back on it, I wish I got the silver veined version. My workhorse is going to get scratched eventually ....
