Hey fellas, any thoughts on black vs steel atty's. I usually get them in black cause all my devices are black. Does anybody know the process geek vape/vaperesso use to colour there Atty's? The reason I ask is because we're about to have huge restrictions put on vaping in europe, so I am stocking up on some bits and pieces and want to buy stuff that is going to last a long time. I prefer black but is the colour going to eventually flake/come off?

Cheers for any replies, Adam.

I tend to buy plain old stainless steel atomizers for that reason. Kayfun, Lemo 2, and most others come in SS. Some are available in colors and I would suspect that it's a dye and not a paint in most cases, although you can paint SS. Both processes exist.

Maybe someone will pop up here with a better answer.

Cheers for reply, all my stuff is black and it's never bothered me before. If there was ever any problem with the colouring it wasn't a big deal cause I'd probably be onto my next device/atty by then. If vendors abide by these ridiculous new EU laws we'll pretty much be left with cig-alikes.

Geekvape is good to go...its anodized
Anodizing gives aluminum a deeper, richer metallic appearance than is possible with organic coatings. This is because an anodized coating is translucent, and one can see the base metal underneath the coating. This translucence contributes to color variation problems, but anodizers are doing a much better job of controlling the amount of color variation than in the past. Computerized color matching with quantitative, objective color data is now commonplace in most anodizing facilities.
Anodizing is unaffected by sunlight. All organic coatings will eventually fail due to exposure to ultra-violet light.[emoji41]

Adam when do these laws go into affect?
Hi Paul, mid May. No tanks bigger than 2ml, must be 100% leak proof and have a 100% leak proof filling method. No e-liquid to be sold in containers over 10ml, no eliquid over 2%nic, including nicotine base for diy. We'll pretty much be left with cartridge filled cigalikes, manufactured mostly by big tobacco and big pharma who are probably behind these ridiculous changes in the first place.

Pretty grim out look, cheers Adam.

Hi, not sure how it will all work tbh. Probably be very hard to police. Feel very sorry for all the vendors. Watched a vid from 1 vendor who stocked 260 different flavour liquids. Not only do they have to pay£1000's for each individual flavour to be verified but also each nic variant of each flavour. Most will not be able to trade under these circumstances. Leaving the market wide open for big tobacco/pharma and their cigalike .....
