I have been vaping for a few months. I started out with a regular 510 batter and prefilled menthol flavored cartos. I was never overly excited about the flavor but it was enough to drop the anologs. A few weeks ago I purchased an ego-t upgrade and a vision vivi nova tank. So I've been experimenting with e juices. I hear so much raving about these flavored liquids. Fruit flavors, chocolates, vanillas, just about every flavor you can think of. Every flavor I've tried had been bland! A hint of sweet but I can barely tell what flavor im actually vaping. I've ordered twice from EC blend the first time I got a higher pg % too much TH very little taste. Second order had higher vg% and extra flavor on every bottle. I havnt tried them all but so far BLAND. What is going on? I don't think its ec blend because alot of customers reviews say they can reakky tastes the flavor... please help. I want my tastes to get that delicious experience that the rest of you vapors are getting. Thank you for any feedback.

Steeping: it takes a week for my order to grt to me so there's a week of steeping already, the.order I still have from a month ago they still taste the same.

Tried dripping atomizers: I have 2, a joyetech and a magma, I hate them! Can never get a decent off them and the flavor isn't much better
I think its me I don't know how to use the atomizers properly. 3 drops is not enough and 4 drops is flooding.. whatever.

Mtbakervapor: ill look into it

DIY: I've seriously thought about it. But im afraid its too advanced for me.

Your tongue could also be on the fritz.

Check the Nova if the center chamber is flooded. It kills flavor and vapor.

Actually, too much flavoring can make your juice taste like nothing. Counter-intuitive? Maybe, but true nonetheless. This phenomenon is discussed a lot over at DIY forum. If you can smell it but not taste it, most of the times its over flavoring. Theres a reason why people usually cap flavoring at 20%

I can relate to your dilemma..... I can go weeks and not taste my juices.... it's been this way for the past couple of years (*after having major surgery) and it's really a bummer because 'in the beginning' of my vaping journey EVERY Juice was almost 'too' much flavor. :glare:

I've found that if I vape 'less' often and the sessions are shorter the flavors improve.

I hope things improve for you because the juices are insane when you find the 'right' ones for you. :smokie:

I just finished reading that entire post finally got to the instructions and I see exactly what you are talking about. I have 510 attys not 306 I see I need to get the 306 atty you have the link too? Will that make all the difference. Thank you.I will give atomizers a second chance. But still I have the vivi nova and ilike the fact that I don't have to drip every few hits... is there anything you can suggest or advice with the vivi nova for flavor and not just atomizers? Thank you

It could be vaper's tongue (tastebuds went on vacation) and it could also be dehydration...or both. I've found that if I try to vape the same thing all day long, my taste buds get 'tired'- similar to what happens with your sense of smell. My trick is to have 2 flavors to vape, and alternate between them when one starts losing its punch. And water- sip lots and lots of water. My tongue actually dries out if I vape a lot, which really affects my sense of taste.

I wish this was it cause this would be an easy fix. But the mute in flavor is from the time i first open the bottle of any new flavor. And I drink water all day long vape or no vape... but thank you.

Excuse me if this sounds like a stupid question. But how do I check if the chamber is flooded? Thisjust might be my issue as I do rinse the entire vivi nova piece by piece before adding liquid.

you gotta make sure everything is dry and empty, esp the wicks. blow thru the center post and head real good. don't for get to rebuild or replace your coil/wick as needed.

Ya I have the same problem w/ my vivi's robbing flavor and just found something called a kanger pro tank that uses the same kind of system (replaceable atomizer heads) except it's bottom fed and w/ a pyrex tank - they're not out yet, hopefully sometime next week...they're about $20 and seem like a perfect solution. You can preorder them from kanger or just wait till the u.s. dealers get em in stock, probably around the 15th.

Did you order one from kanger or are you waiting?

Tav, I've often felt this way about flavors. Personally, I usually order a higher flavor load (if it is available from the vendor). But aside from that, look into the resistance of the Vivi Nova head you have going. I'm using Kanger T3's now (and I love them, especially the minis), but the standard resistance head (~2.5 ohm) kills the flavor unless I'm using a variable voltage eGo, like a Spinner or Twist. I've found that the 1.8 ohm heads are OK on a fixed voltage eGo, like you are using. If you're liking the Vivi Nova otherwise, look into getting lower resistance heads for it.

edit: Also, you are probably going to want a variable voltage battery sooner, rather than later.

I'm waiting - a whole bunch have already shipped but if u order from china the site says now they're not shipping till the 20th (takes 2 weeks) - start looking for them from dealers around the 15th, that's when the first ones sent out should be arriving.
