btw I assume ur using the right voltage...it does make a difference. I use 2.4 heads @ 5 volts - seems to be my sweet spot. Directions for findin the right voltage in my thread but a good rule of thumb is to double the ohms and subtract 0.2 and work ur way up from there to find the best for u. stop @ 0.4 above double if u don't wanna burn it out.

Take off the silicone capccovering your wick. See if the space around your wick is flooded. It needs to be relatively dry.

While the Nova design is said to "rob" flavors, it doesnt do it that much. So if the loss of flavor is significant, it means something is wrong. Dont blame the design if you are using it incorrectly. The difference in flavor level between my RBAs and my simple Nova is 10 to 6.5/ 7, but no more.

I beg to differ...I put 1 drop of something in my 306 and it hits and tastes awesome, put the same juice in my vivi and it's significantly muted although still tastes the exact same - just more mild and less throat hit... the problem is the vivi nova as I've said - nothing you can tweak will make any difference imo, it's just the way they are. Grab a protank when they come out...

u know what I can't stand? the vivi juice in the mouth thing - wth why couldn't they figure out a way to make the connection sealed tighter...it's a flawed design...a bottom-fed replaceable atty w/ a pyrex is a MUCH better idea...can't wait for these damn protanks to come...I will be patroling my fav sites starting on the 14th to make sure u .......s don't buy em all up before I get mine...everything sells out crazy quick nowadays...

Ok everyone, heres to throw a loop in the vivi nova being the #1 problem with my issue. I just pulled out my joyetech atomizer. I follwed the instructions posted by darkhood. I am geating great vape, suprisingly. But the taste is still bland, muted, almost flavorless. Sometjing else is wrong here. Could it be EC blends? Or could it be my pg/vg ratio although as I stated earlier Ive tried 40/60 50/50 and 60/40. I've tried 5 different flavors in one sitting each one is still bland. The only one that actually has taste and I enjoy is the new harbor(tobacco flavor menthol-newport mock) 50/50 still the menthol and cool hit is lacking. Its the tobacco that comes thru nothing else. Is it the vendor. What are your thoughts? Btw bland e juice was my first ecf post and everyone is so helpful. I just fell in love with ecf:) now if only I.could fall in love with my e juice!

First, PG and nicotine = throat hit, nicotine more so but PG plays a huge factor. pg also = flavor - the more vg the less flavor (or more u have to add). so yes, a 40/60 blend compared to a 70/30 blend (pg/vg) will = significantly less th and flavor. Suggestion - yank the bridge assembly outta ur joyetech and turn it into a dripper...ul get better throat hit and flavor. AND DIY juice so u can play around w/ pg and flavor levels :)

510-T & Ego-T Atomizer - How to remove and reinsert the spike plate for cleaning - YouTube

My bad, I read that as you have an ego-t for some reason, a regular joyetech atty does have a bridge tho - not ideal for dripping...my best suggestion is to DIY and adjust ur pg level / add more flavor.

I order double extra flavor with EC Blends, because flavor is my number one issue with juices--'cause I'm a flavor junkie! It still isn't enough if I don't have the right resistance/voltage combo (lower resistance and/or higher voltage=more flavor, but too much=a burned taste).

I think your saying i need to get a variable voltage lol ok ok I get it ill look into that when I have the funds to upgrade. Do you order from any other vendors that accomodate your flavor preference better than ec blends?

:) Yes, either variable voltage, or low resistance heads (I'm working on a combination of the two, since I have several cute non-VV batteries that I don't want to give up on!). I DO like EC Blends, but like I said, I get their double X flavor strength. There are quite a few vendors out there that will customize the strength of your flavors. A couple that come to mind right off are deejStuff eLiquid, The Apocalypse can wait... (you can get up to 200%--I get 150% "push"), and Mt Baker Vapor - Electronic Cigarettes, USA made E Juice, and Accessories (you can add extra "flavor shots"). That's just a couple, but a lot of vendors will customize flavors.

Pardon me if I seem redundant on this bland issue. But one last question.. how long do you steep? I have dxf juuce from ec blend doesn't seem dxf to me. It took a week to get here I assumed that was ling enough steeping and shaking. But how long do you steep? And what's your favorite flavor?

Also pg/vg mg thank you

Like i said, while the design mutes flavor, its a different story if you are using it wrong. I have never gotten juice in my mouth with the Novas, even with tilts beyond horizontal.

If there is a problem with your device, the first reaction should be to change it, not to blame it.

Yikes, how long to steep and favorite flavor. Those are some tough questions, and very subjective to individual taste. That depends a lot on what you get and what you like. Honestly, for me, the one flavor that I've found that I just have to have on hand isn't any of the vendors previously discussed, and it isn't an ADV (all day vape) for me--It's Rawr Truth Serum. And Rawr (Rawr Vapor: Home page) doesn't even have flavor strength options. So it totally runs contrary to all my previous advice.

Honestly, I don't have an ADV. I may have mentioned that I'm a flavor junkie? So I like to switch up flavors a lot. And I've tried a lot (many of them are pushed toward the back of my seriously over-stocked juice drawer). What kinds of flavors do you like, and maybe I can help steer you in a good direction?

As far as vape goes I don't have a favorite flavor... yet. But im bound and determined to find one. Milk chocolate/malt chocolate, vanilla appeal to me as well as Juicy fruity flavors. But im open for suggestions.

Hi, I have the same e-go that you have and I've only been doing this for a couple of months too. I've only got juice from a couple of places and I haven't been impressed with the flavor of most of them so far. Next week I'm suppose to get a shipment from a company that is suppose to be really good and if I don't like them I know there is something wrong with me.:glare: I only have used cartomizers so far and the only one that I've really loved was a dual coil with a 1.5 resistance. You don't have a VV but you do have the upgraded e-go so if your battery is charged you can up the voltage.....turn the device off and hold the button down until it has an orange/white glow instead of the white blue color and that will up the voltage.

Yes I have the upgrade. It gives me a highrr voltage which is great for vape but no so much taste.
