Blank 510 cartomizers

I apologize for a silly question, but after searching and reading all of the results with 510 cartomizers in this forum, I never completely got a definitive answer.

Will blank 510 cartomizers fit my eGo twist batteries?

Yes.
It'll use the inside threads, and leave the "ego" threads exposed.
You may want to get a "cone" to make it look neater...

Awesome! Just got about 10 sample bottles, and didn't plan ahead for enough blank carts. Any suggestions on the best blank 510 carts for the ego? Also, maybe the best place to get the cone?

Here's a sort of "medium" length cone, that looks good on an Ego with a carto.
Here's a whole "selection" of different things called cones!
(just don't get an "atomizer cone" - it has an atomizer IN IT, and so it won't fit over a cartomizer that ALSO has an atomizer in it...)

For the cartomizers, I don't use them anymore - I switched to "clearomizers". And the ones I liked are gone from the vendor I was using. I liked getting REALLY low resistance - it meant my regular ego's (not twists) could fire them kind of "hot" and give a good hit. They were 1.5 ohms, which you don't see much. I'd look for 1.8 though...

Yo. I think I'm one of the few remaining people who still prefers cartomizers by themselves, as opposed to tanks or clearomizers. You're going to want to get single coil Boge cartomizers, and my personal preference is the LR (low resistance). The nice thing about Boge LR is they're about 2.3 ohm, so they're not AS low as other companies... that means you can take better advantage of the range of a variable voltage device, without being limited or having your face get blown off (...not literally).

Also, you'll probably want to get them in stainless steel (or "silver"). What this means is they won't have the black sticker around them, so they'll fit better inside an Ego cone without having the air be restricted.
