I just got a big batch in today and they are hard cap. They aren't glued in and I was able to pop the cap like normal with a paperclip. Come sealed in the foil capsule pack thingy like most carto's do. Hope that helps : D

Thank you Wench ! Those are the regular ones then..i got some awhile back that were glued in...i had to boil the top of them to get them off...what a pain. Wanted to make sure these werent them...Those came individually wrapped.

Thanks so much ! :)

Yep, these are the regular kr8's. I had no problem getting it off like the normal carto's. I understand, don't want to encounter the glue one's either myself lol8-o

I fill with condom and dont worry about filling or taking off the top.

Morning Doots...
when you say "I fill with Condom" are you talking about the process where you fill the lower cap with juice and then push the empty cart down into it?

If so, do you refill them the same way and how do you know how much to use on the refill?

One more.. anyone ever counted the ~number of drops you get in with the bottom up fill method?

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm old school.. I do the top drip and then spin the carto around in a little centrifuge (Bottle on the end of a string)...
I get 30 - 35 drops into empties and 15 - 20 on refills.....

I actually prefer the blank carts I get from PS. I gotten some funky "shiny bottom carts" from somewhere that really weren't worth a damn..

Brock, I use the "condom" method on the first fill, filling the cap up about 3/4 (give or take), then I put on a T-tip and do the refills from there ........... works great !

I took your word that PS has very good cartos and ordered 20 .. got them in, loved them, ordered 30 more :p That should hold me a day or two ;)

I'll have to try your filling method.. Sunday is usually my clean everything and fill new cart morning.... well along with the coffee and cheesecake thing :w00t:

What happens to the juice that would be in the tube? Does it get absorbed or do you blow it back out? Do you just let them sit for a while after filling?

Glad you like the the carts.. I never pretend to like or try to recommend stuff unless I really do. Don't know why or how they're different but they seem to be...

Got some of those exact ones at another place but don't know where, they were a lot higher also... Hard to beat PS's price...

Yes, after the first fill, before putting on a T-Tip ... I blow out from the atty end, just a little, not like you're blowing out an atty ... just a teeny bit ... to get any excess liquid out ..... and um, nope ... usually I don't let them sit ... kinda fill and go (lol I'm not nearly that organized  )
Hope it works for ya ... super fast and easy ....

Hey, Ladycats -- I have a few questions about the "condom" method and what works best for you since I've also just ordered some T-Tips for my cartos:

Do you fill from the battery end or the mouthpiece end?

Do you take the mouthpiece out before doing the condom fill for the first time?

I'm asking because I've been using 808Ds for only about 2 weeks now, and I'd been filling from the mouthpiece end. I'd not taken it off to see what's actually going on inside.

Yesterday, I experimented and took the mouthpiece off. Then I filled from the battery end and watched what happened. Liquid ran up the center tube and then flowed over onto the filler material. So I assume the gentle blow from the battery end is just to blow out any liquid left in the tube. yes?

Thanks!

Filled a few carts this way this morning... It helps if you pull the top first to keep liquid from pooling between the top and the o-ring.

you press the battery end into the condom full of liquid and then blow it out from the top, wipe off it's little bottom and you're good to go...

Works well... Even did a few refills this way. Whatever isn't absorbed gets pulled back through the straw and back into the condom.. Quick and easy....

Thanks Lady...

The condom method seems to leave them wetter which is better  Right¿
:w00t: "The wetter the better" :w00t:

I think I like it.... I blew a couple out from the battery end after wiping their little bottoms off and don't seem to lose as much liquid that way and don't have near the mess in the sink.

LOL yes Brock ... "The wetter the better" ;)

I'll try that. Blowing from the cap end does seem to waste a lot of liquid.

One thing I've noticed since I removed the end caps and started filling from the battery end (now that I can see what's going on):

I have to fill the condom at least twice: the first time, it's mostly full, and a little of the liquid spills out of the tube onto the filler. Then I have to fill it again about halfway for enough to flow out and make the filler look saturated. Is that normal?

When I was using the condom fill method from the cap end, I would do it until I saw a bubble out of the battery end. I assumed it was full. And that was usually only one cap full. But maybe I wasn't really filling it up completely?
