Hi

Just curious to what people buy here. SI has the same price for blanks vs Pre-fill. I would think most would buy the pre-fill and the refill those vs buying the blanks. However, I notice that if you buy in bulk the discount on the blanks is quite substantial vs the pre-fill.

Also, a little carto case for the XL's would be cool.

I usually buy the blanks, I never really found a SI juice I was into. But I LOVE the cartos though, they are high quality 808 cartos. And yes, I do buy several packs at a time to get the discount. Also helps if there is a coupon code as well, which I check for. (Sometimes I just google lol). I am excited to try the new XLs, if they are the same but bigger they are gonna be awesome!!

I buy blanks because I am relatively new and bought a bunch of different juice flavors to try and a bunch of blanks to fill. I wish I had gotten the xxl's as the regulars only hold a bit over 1 mil of liquid.... They are easy enough to fill. I use the "condom" method.... Fill up the bottom plastic holder piece about 3/4 full and insert the battery side down into the liquid. I also drip a few drops on top. The liquid soaks up through the bottom. It takes WAY more time if you drip fill them, especially if you are using a thicker juice, eg. one with more vg than pg. If you do it that way, you will probably give up rather quickly!
You can search for videos on this so you can see it, which is better than my description....
Good Luck!

I'd just like to say that the blanks you get from Smokeless Image are pretty ridiculous in terms of quality.

I've been using the same ones all the way through bottles of juices, with only slight decreases in performance.

I've only gotten 2 cartomizers that were DOA, but other than that all work great!

Really the only problem I have with these is the fact that they don't have a low resistance model! If they came out with that, I would be set for quite some time!

I've only used the Boge brand regular sized standard res cartos, so far. Actually, I did have a clearomizer that I absolutely loved, but it cracked one me. There are a lot of different types of juices that will crack plastic tanks... I've heard that the low res will make your ego come alive, but that they do not last as long and they use more juice. I'll have to try one... Boge seems to be the most popular on this site...

I buy both blanks and pre-fills, but only a couple of flavors in pre-fills. Now that I have the "nicquids," it will mostly be blanks. I usually order at least two boxes of blanks with each order. I also have maybe 3 dozen carto boxes now. I love them, they are the perfect size. I now have a cart box dedicated to each of my favorite flavors, and I just used a small label on the bottom of the boxes to tell me what I have in each. I don't really feel the need to have the XL blanks, so I'm good with the blanks or pre-fills and carto boxes.

For the most part, I leave my X2 at home for vaping with the clearomizers, but occasionally I will take it with me. I use the carts with it on the go, though. I don't feel the need to take the clearomizers out and about.

Wow, 3 dozen boxes??

Ok, so I ordered a couple dozen at once instead of here and there, finally, and got it over with. They are just darned handy to have, and keeps me from trying to remember what liquid I have in what carts. I tried color coding with end caps, but I don't have enough colors to go around, lol. I don't have 3 dozen cartos - yet.

Boxes and labels. /nod

I just went ahead and got it over with. Bought 10 packs of blanks and an X2 with some clearo's. I'm good now, only vaping two weeks and spent a punch mostly from SI. 8 78's, 1 XL (650) for home use, 7 clearo's, some prefills, 10 packs of blanks, 6 little carto cases, a couple extra usb chargers.

Must stay away from SI for a while. :)
