Yep, I still have a few un-punched cartomizers and a carto punch tool somewhere stashed away. 
I actually prefered the pre-punched (laser drilled) cartos over the unpunched. The point of the tool quickly became dull and would grossly deform the carto, which could then get stuck in the cartotank.

I used to always wanting mode holes.....
I just kept the point sharp.when I ground it too short, I used a sharp point Allen bolt.

Yeah, as soon as the Liquidinator got popular and there was a market for unwrapped they started charging xtra for SS. Like $1-$1.50 more for just not wrapping them in the first place, lol.Charged extra for unwrapped?

Early on when the cigalikes were popular, they had a paper or plastic wrapper. When carto tanks started, they either wouldn't fit, or sometimes disintegrated from the e-liquid. I still have a case of the XL, non punched, ss/no wrappers (still waiting on the apocalypse
)
