There's a full size v2.0 satin white on the clearance page, but apparently they screwed up* more than one, since on the product page it says:

Blem ProVari Satin White V2 - Limited Time Only, while supplies last.
ProVari Satin White Blem Sale

Unfortunately, only the red LED is offered. $150.00

*Hmmm...I'm pondering this. As I've posted before, I expect to see more units on the clearance page, since I'm sure they have V2.0 inventory they want to move. They only continued to carry the V2.0 body design up until now, because the crop circles weren't very well received when first introduced, but people have gotten used to them. Companies tend to move forward, not backwards (unless they really screw up like Coca Cola), so I imagine they are going to quietly phase out V2.0.

So what's up with the blems? As usual the copy says, "During the manufacturing process there was a small scratch or spot on the tube that we didn't like, or there was a nick or small mark on the LED display that didn't pass our quality control team." Blah, blah, blah...

During manufacturing? Huh? How long have they been sitting in the warehouse?

But hidden down in the the usual blah, blah, blah it says, "These discounted ProVari are only being offered for a limited time, while supplies last."

I wonder if they are really blems at all. Maybe they are white/red ProVaris that didn't sell.

I don't know anything about this kind of manufacturing business. Would there be some benefit for a company to designate a product as "blemished" and sell it for a lower cost, instead of just selling it on sale?

Just so you know, I am the repository of all things that need to be thought about and pondered, but no one has time to do it. Pondering and hunting are what ocelots do best.

I am pondering the blem even though I love my minis but use the 490 batteries most of the time plus I missed out on the white mini deal that was in the classies!! I will recheck the site and think on it a little!!

Oh, I'm sorry :( Is there a color combo you are looking for in particular?

There were 3 of the full sized on the Clearance page last I checked, a pink and 2 whites. Darn it, I already bought a black full sized, or I'd have jumped all over the white ones. I wanted a Mini when I looked, so I bought a brand new Mini silver. My timing is always the worst on stuff like that...

Actually, the white is very user friendly when it comes to showing dirt. I have mine in my hand half the time, sometimes when I'm handling food or wiping off a counter, and have yet to leave a mark on it of any kind, including e-liquid. I don't baby it at all either. The finish is nice and would be easy to wipe off if necessary. I would encourage anyone holding back on getting the white because of fear of getting it dirty to put your fears to rest. The finish on it is as solid as the device itself. Unless you're throwing it in your bag with keys or other metallic objects, it's pretty much a non issue. I put mine in a soft glasses case when I want to throw it in my bag. Just IMHO. I love my white mini. (the red is just plain out gorgeous too!)

I've pondered the same thing but only long enough to know that's a great deal if I wanted a regular sized white one with a red LED, which I don't. White and dirty hands don't work out that well.

I hear this all the time when it comes to anything white.
Too many people think it's the hardest thing to keep clean and this holds true depending largely on the finish.
I have a couple of matte white eGo batteries and they look atrocious.
If The ProVari came in that finish I'd never buy white.
If I (Ocelet....where you at?) could find a high gloss white eGo/EVOD combo I'd be happy; unless those don't exist then I'd have to find a wrap for it.

I don't recall any high gloss battery devices. Satin or a few polished is the closest I can think of. If it was a cheap eGo battery, like from FT, you could put a gloss finish on it yourself. I shall hunt anyway.

I agree 100%--was worried the white would look dirty after awhile--went for it anyway and it stays nice and white!

I like the minis, too.

I don't think I'll buy a full size one.

I have one of each, I like them both but prefer the mini.

The white has stayed perfectly white and it was attached to my hand almost permanently until I got the mini. Have a 2nd mini coming and it is white.

Thanks Oce. No need to look. My son broke the white eGo. That makes the 3rd or 4th he's managed to break.
