There's a full size v2.0 satin white on the clearance page, but apparently they screwed up* more than one, since on the product page it says:
Blem ProVari Satin White V2 - Limited Time Only, while supplies last.
ProVari Satin White Blem Sale
Unfortunately, only the red LED is offered. $150.00
*Hmmm...I'm pondering this. As I've posted before, I expect to see more units on the clearance page, since I'm sure they have V2.0 inventory they want to move. They only continued to carry the V2.0 body design up until now, because the crop circles weren't very well received when first introduced, but people have gotten used to them. Companies tend to move forward, not backwards (unless they really screw up like Coca Cola), so I imagine they are going to quietly phase out V2.0.
So what's up with the blems? As usual the copy says, "During the manufacturing process there was a small scratch or spot on the tube that we didn't like, or there was a nick or small mark on the LED display that didn't pass our quality control team." Blah, blah, blah...
During manufacturing? Huh? How long have they been sitting in the warehouse?
But hidden down in the the usual blah, blah, blah it says, "These discounted ProVari are only being offered for a limited time, while supplies last."
I wonder if they are really blems at all. Maybe they are white/red ProVaris that didn't sell.
I don't know anything about this kind of manufacturing business. Would there be some benefit for a company to designate a product as "blemished" and sell it for a lower cost, instead of just selling it on sale?
Just so you know, I am the repository of all things that need to be thought about and pondered, but no one has time to do it. Pondering and hunting are what ocelots do best.
