Now i've blown a total of four atty's(god I love this product)

I noticed that I wasn't getting the right amount of vapor, so I did a dry burn for about 5 seconds. I noticed that it was producing no smoke and that it wasn't turning red in any spot. Odd thing is, is that i'm still getting an okay to low amount of vapor.

Any who, I gotta go out and get some more poly fill. Can I get that at walmart?

Also I'm pretty sure litecigusa gave me a bad atty's so does anyone have a suggestion about a good place to by 51o black atty's that won't blow in 2 days of vaping(what a joke)?

Another thing while I've got a thread up, I know most people hate the smokeverywhere place at the malls. But do those people help you out with questions about 510's? I think I just need a person to talk to me face to face so I can get all the info, because something is going horribly wrong.

If your still getting any vapor at all then they aren't blown. Sounds to me like they are just dry. I'd drop some juice on them and let it soak in a bit and make sure the cartridge is full. I doubt Smoking Everywhere guys are gonna help you with their competitors product. But I do know their atomizer WILL fit on a 510 battery.

If you're talking about the SE Gold / 4081, the attys will NOT fit on any type of 510. They have the same diameter, but the thread pitch is different. You will destroy the threads on the atty or connector.

Edit; My mistake. The 510 and 4081 attys are NOT the same diameter, and will not interchange. The 510 threads are the same as the 401's, but male & female are opposite.

I guess I have the original SE then. I wan't sure which model it was but it is almost a year old so I guess it's the original one that fits.
It's the one on the top.

Dry burns shouldn't be done for more than about 2 seconds. What I do is while I'm vaping I wait until I'm pretty much out of juice, then I take the cart out, look down at the atty, and count to 2 when it starts to glow. It's not 100% dry and I only do this ONCE a day. Usually first thing in the morning. I haven't blown out an atty yet, probably because I'm scared of letting it glow for more than 2 seconds. It does help.

While it's not a bad idea to do a dry burn once a day you still need to do general maintainence. Mine were drawing a little harder than normal. 510's should be pretty much effortless. So, I soaked them in lemon juice for a few hours (a shot glass full brought to a boil in about 20 seconds in the microwave...then drop them in). Soaked for another half hour in water. Then let them drain overnight with a paper towel rolled up in the atty to draw all the water out. Makes a world of differnece.

P.S. I don't think I've ever had a 510 atomizer last less than a month.
P.P.S. You can skip the dry burn all together if you want. Soaking every couple of days really does the trick. Most nights I just run it under a hot tap for a minute, stuff a paper towel in it, and let it dry overnight.

Is that the older version of the SE Gold? Never saw that one before. The newer versions are the 4081's. Boy! Every time we turn around, SE is messing with our heads.
I don't know what version it is but I don't think any Gold versions were available yet when this one was around. Like I said it's almost a year old and there was no marking on the box about what model it is so it's probably the very first one that came out by SE. It was a pain to get the cartridge off without that stainless steel sleeve coming off with it and I had to use crazy glue to keep it on. I used it about a week before throwing it in the junk drawer.

I initially tried the "dry burn" technique and was the same as you wiscoking! Went through 2 attys quickly! I know a lot of people here swear by that method, but I, on the other hand, am now afraid of it.

I was a "daily/every other day" cleaner for a while. Now all I do is blow out my atty.
Occasionally I rinse/soak (once a week) with hot water or vodka. I let them dry thoroughly (paper towel and re-wet-up with my favorite juice almost to the point of flooding, let it set then blow out the excess. I rotate through 3 attys so I always have one or two ready. The two I have have been going for over 30 days now - and I should probably replace them.

When I say blow out - I blow (not too forcefully) from the battery end into a paper towel.

Wow. That's the first one I've seen with that ring at the bridge end. Might want to watch the Crazy Glue. I don't know how the chemicals in the glue will react to the heat, and inhaling. (But you're still posting, so it can't be all bad.)

Hi wiscoking13,

Now i've blown a total of four atty's(god I love this product)

I`ve tried "dry burning" on 1 atty only and I did not notice any difference in the vapor production...

On the other hand when I notice an atty not working like it should I drain it over night and it is like new after that...

If draining for some reason does not solve my problem I`ve found that for me soaking it for several hours in pure ethyl alcohol (like described in the manual that comes with the kit) solves the problem. I`m very satisfied with this cleaning method....

Up to now I`ve been rotating 6 atties for maybe 3-4 months and they all work great..

Any who, I gotta go out and get some more poly fill. Can I get that at walmart?

In my experience I also discovered that the cart material that I use makes a huge difference.... once I notice that I`m not satisfied with the way my 510 vapes I just switch the cart with a fresh one and it starts working like new...

Unfortunately up to now I did not have much luck with poly fill and tea bags as well...

Up to now I`ve been rotating 6 atties for maybe 3-4 months and they all work great..

I buy all my hardware from Heaven Gifts....you might check for other guys but that`s what I would recommend you
