OK. I've been vaping for 2 weeks. Was a 2+ pack/day smoker. In 2 weeks I've smoked 2 packs total with my 510. None today and am really hoping I don't weaken and buy another pack.
To be sure I have no excuses, I bought some extra attys and batts. The 1st 2 attys I bought do not have the white oval at the bottom of the attys. The one's I've bought recently do.
I needed to clean my atty, (my wife uses the 2nd of the A/M(after mrkt) attys), and grabbed the OEM atty. 10 minutes of vaping and it melted the cart. Emailed the girls @ cignot.com wondering if it was something I did, and 4 minutes later they emailed back the tracking # for the free replacement atty. I thought, ok, wasn't me. (And wow am I ever blown away by how good their customer service is!!)
I only drip, and just read another thread about cutting the carts back and that got rid of some of the 'chemical' taste I was experiencing. YAY! And TY to whoever wrote that post. Plus, now I don't have to worry about cart alignment!

Picked up a few extra OEM attys today. Popped 1 on to get it broken in and man did it taste like azz. And yes I blew out the primer. I've been vaping on it now for about 8 hrs and although it produces clouds of vapor, there is no taste.
Here's my question... Do the OEM attys burn so much hotter than A/M attys that it cooks the taste off? I'm using butterscotch VG, 36mg & 18mg. I can usually taste it fine, but not with the OEM. Have any of you found this to be true as well? Or do the OEM attys take longer to break in b4 the flavor comes thru?
Right now, it just tastes like wet cardboard and steam. Not pleasant at all. And I DO NOT want to go back to analogs!
Any and all help is appreciated.
