blocked airways

I have an itaste vv v3.0 and a kanger protank 2. I've been building coils using organic cotton and 32 gauge kanthal wire for about a month now. But earlier I built a coil put organic cotton wick in it and it seemed to be fine. I put it in the base put the base on the tank and put it on the battery and the airways were blocked. So I thought just a fluke and built a different one. It did the same thing. What is going on? Any ideas?

I have the same problem with my Kanger Protank 2 on my Smoktech Bolt and my iTazte MVP2. I have an SVD in the mail right now headed to me, so I'll see how that works. But, I also used less cotton, 30ga kanthal with 1.9 ohms to 2.2 and it is fine when it's off my mod, even if I back it off a lot to where it barely fires, anymore it wouldn't connect. And it's bad, not just blocked airways, almost completely plugged feeling. My airways are not drilled though, but I didn't have this problem a week ago. So confused

Check the bottoms of your coil heads.. if the tank gets screwed onto the connection just a little to tight the positive pin can mash the insulation and it will swell out of the gap its supposed to be sitting in and block your airflow.. if you see the insulation bulged out just grab some pliers and back the positive pin out Just a very little bit and next time you screw the tank on just put it 'snug'.. or even on the light side of 'snug' thats what I do now after I found that issue.

Try flipping the little rubber/silicone gromet that covers your coil and wick over. I have been doing that on all the new pre-built Kanger wicks I got recently. At first I was getting no juice into the wicks cause the cover was snugged down over the coils too tight. Filpping the gromet over worked perfectly and was actually better than when I first got it with wicks that worked properly the way they were designed. QC issues I suspect with Kanger, but flipping the plastic gromet over has solved all my PT2 problems.

I tried it and it did make a world of difference, but I'm still having problems. Every device I use, same issue. Only time it isn't bad is if I back it off almost to where it isn't even making contact, but then it's loosely screwed onto my mods and it wobbles which I don't like. But it does help a lot, I suggest everyone try this, might work better for others, because everyone has different ideas of "loose, airy draws" and "tight draws"
