Bloog Maxxfusion questions (new member first post)

This is my first post on this forum, I'd like to be able to post in the bloog forum but i guess I have to have a few posts in order to have access. Well I'll say a little about myself. I'm 23, been a smoker since i was 14. That's 9 years of smoking. Heavily now, about 15 cigarettes a day. My mom let me have her Green Smoke electronic cigarette, and I like the overall idea of it, but it is virtually flavorless, takes forever to charge, is heavy, among other complaints. I stumbled upon the Bloog and it was perfect for what I want, but everything seems to be sold out. Upon contacting them they said to check back march 1st. Well I have a few questions before placing an order, and I didn't want to put them all on a customers service rep.. So help!

1. I've been a primarily menthol smoker. Are the menthol cartos good?
2. I am leaning more towards the mini pcc starter kit. Would I need a seperate charger if I get a few bigger batteries?
3. What's the difference between the mini pcc and the regular sized pcc?
4. What is the most flavorful vapor they offer?
5. If there are any reps on this board, when will I be able to order?

That's all I can think of at the moment but I'm sure more questions will arise.

Never had a Bloog... looks kinda like a KR808. A bit pricey. Their cartos are cheap, but 11mg max? I'd go nuts.

A KR808 user would prolly be better to answer most of these questions, but I imagine the mini PCC is just a smaller version. With those batteries, you could probably charge a larger one on it, but you wouldn't be able to close the thing with a larger batt screwed in... and it would drain the PCC's internal battery a lot faster.

As far as most flavorful vapor... well, that's a really subjective thing. I'd say try different suppliers, and get some blank cartomizers to use with them. As far as menthol goes, if you get into DIY or check some DIY suppliers, you can get menthol crystals and then turn *any* juice into a menthol if you want. I was never a menthol smoker, but a lot of menthol smokers like my spearmint & wintergreen flavors

thanks for the reply. I looked at their website a bit and their cartos go up to 24mg of nic. I'm trying to use these to quit smoking/eventually get off of nicotine so I plan to taper off. But yeah, I've smoked Newports the majority of my time smoking. and I really am just looking for something flavorful. The Green Smoke almost tastes like a fog machine smells.

I'm not a menthol smoker, but I've read some not so great reports on their menthol cartos compared to their others. This may seem to be brand of cigarette related though as apparently there is a big difference between say a newport and a cool or marlboro menthol. Remember cartos are easy to refill, and bloog has many reports of people refilling them far more times successfully than with other brands. If I were in your shoes, I'd get some menthol cartos, some non-menthol cartos, and buy some samples of other brands of menthol juice to refill and experiment with. Many threads in the juice forum on good menthols, and in fact many non-menthol smokers seem to like menthol vapes.

Yes, the bigger bats do not fit in the mini-pcc

3. What's the difference between the mini pcc and the regular sized pcc?
Size. Coolness. Format, iphone size shape gadgety looking thing vs. oldschool cigarette or sunglasses case style. Size of batts compatibility, regular pcc fits both, mini only fits minis. Mini PCC has a user replaceable camera style battery, regular has built in battery. This means after a year or so and the battery is shot, the mini-pcc can be fixed, the regular not. Also, an extra battery or two for the mini-pcc could be gotten from amazon or somewhere allowing one to carry a lot of mobile charging power. Mini-pcc seems to have a little less capacity for carrying say extra cartos or batts, and at least one user doesn't like that and wants room for more cartos or juice.

4. What is the most flavorful vapor they offer?
Cant' speak to that.

5. If there are any reps on this board, when will I be able to order?
Order almost any day now, they were delayed by Chinese new year. Stock was promised early this week for most out of stock items. Yes, they have reps on board, in fact their own subforum. Bloog Electronic Cigarette

They are based on kr808's but have several possibly exclusive improvements. From all reviews the batteries are phenomenal with a much improved switch which activates instantly eliminating primer puffs while not being sensitive to sound or other false activations. The batteries are also regulated at a constant voltage which standard kr808's aren't.

Also, forgot to add for zero, before buying a starter kit, try parting out what you want. Seems their kits were priced stupidly and can be more expensive than buying individually. Also, make sure you get the MaxxFusion series. The fusion series is much more like standard dr808's with few (maybe none?) of the improvements.

I've read this about greensmoke, don't know for sure myself:

Green Smoke is a KR808D-2 aka E9, a Chinese wholesaler model that is not popular here and not compatible with its popular look-alike KR808D-1.

So doesn't sound like it, (bloog is compatible with kr808d-1 chargers, which to complicate matters just slightly more is compatible with dse901 model chargers)
Don't feel bad about being new, it's a little confusing at first with there being so much rebranding of generic models, and a few companies actually improving on the generic designs while still being compatible with generic accessories....

Refilling on the bloog is a simple affair. Make sure you remove the battery before refilling the carto, the bats are not sealed and can be ruined if you drip into them (no automatic batteries are sealed, they can't be really). Basically you can either just drip juice into the cartomizer from the mouth end, bloog maxxfusion cartomizers have a funnel shaped opening to encourage this. Or you can use a little plastic cap, called a condom, that comes with new cartos, you put some juice in the cap, push it onto the carto, and the juice gets pushed right in. cartos hold about a ml when dry, although many just drip periodically to keep them full. The condom fill method is not exclusive to bloogs by any means, you should have no trouble finding youtube videos, posts and tutorials galore...
