I'm not sure if this is the appropriate place to post this question but I'm posting it here anyway. I have an eGo Twist. I recently graduated from a blu cig system. I've noticed that the pre filled blu cig cartomizers have 510 threads and screw onto the ego twist very nicely. I tried puffing on it very briefly, and I noticed that the vapor production is awesome and the flavor is even better than on the blu cig. I don't plan on using the blu cig much anymore, but currently I have about 25 brand new pre filled carts, and a handful of old carts that I have learned to refill.

My question is, is it safe to use the blu carts on the ego twist? I thought about buying some blank cartomizers, but considering that I have something like 30 blu carts, I'd really like to use them on the ego twist, and refill them a couple times before throwing them out. I really love the Johnson Creek juice that blucig uses. It almost seems like a shame to waste them on the crappy blu batteries at this point.

Also does anyone know how many ohms the blu cartomizers are rated at?

I had a surplus of Blu carts from my initial blunder purchase and have used them on many of my 510 devices. ALL of them made those carts much better than the Blu batteries ever could. Just be careful cranking up the voltage. I put one on one time and thought "Hmmmm... let's crank this baby up to over 8 watts." Bacon. Burnt bacon.

Yes, you can use 510 on an EGO, the internal threading is the same, the problem comes trying to use EGO carts and clearo's on normal 510 threaded devices. It will work on the cigalike batteries, they are small enough to fit inside the outer cone/shield. But you need an adapter to make them fit on larger devices.

Are they the same connector? I have a twist 650 and I think it would work? Can someone help us newbies out and answer this for us. Thanks.

Like I said, I have already tried using the blu carts on an ego battery, and they work great. I was just worried that I would destroy the atomizer and possibly burn the filler material. The juice used in the blu carts isn't available for purchase (I wish it was). But it's Johnson Creek juice, and it's absolutely wonderful. I have 25 brand new blu carts that I plan to use on my ego battery, but I think I may buy more just because I like it, even though I don't have plans to use the blu batteries on a regular basis.

Another note of caution, shouldn't be a problem buying the Blu carto's, but don't buy carto's with less than 1.7ish ohms to use on the EGO batteries. Somewhere close to 1.5ohms and the batteries can short out and they are DONE! Just trying to keep you vaping and happy!

Just out of curiosity, I just grabbed my ohm meter and ohm'd out a blu cartomizer. It reads 3.6 ohms. It's a lot higher than I thought it would be.

WOW! That certainly explains the low vapor production people claim with Blu's! Lets see, the average is ohms plus 2 to get around 8watts, that would be- 3.6+2= 5.6v! Those things would ROCK on a VV mod!
I don't think there is any fear of damage with those carto's!

The vapor production from my blu batteries actually isn't that bad. It doesn't compare to my ego twist or something larger. But it's almost on par with what you would get out of an actual cigarette, but not quite. My main problem with the blu is that there is absolutely zero throat hit. Maybe if they would put some PG in their juice. But then the vapor production would really suck.

I was curious, so metered a few using my ProVari, but they were all over the place (the 1st one was 3.2, 2nd one was 3.6, the 3rd was 3.1), so decided to do it by flavor to see if maybe the lack of consistency was by flavor.

3.2 vanilla
3.3 vanilla
3.2 vanilla
3.3 coffee
3.6 coffee
3.1 peach
3.4 peach
3.3 tobacco
3.4 tobacco
3.3 pina colada

The reason I still have these is after using the Blu for a while, I read somewhere not to throw anything away as you never know what you might be able to mod later. Not sure the usefulness of them, but these were considered still good enough to vape from when they got put away. The ones that I fried are in with all the other atties I have fried and didn't bother metering them. I had used these on the ego but never bothered to check them. I would suppose they are supposed to be 3.3 as that seems to be the average.

Why are they all different? Does the juice make a difference?
