Hello Everyone,
I've been smoking the Blu e-cigs for about a month and a half now and I am so excited about this technology and how many lives it will save.

My question is - does anyone know of any mods to blu cigs that would make the batteries last longer, or the pack batteries last longer? Also, am I able to use liquid with the Blu e-cigs?

Does anyone recommend that I try something else as an alternative to Blu? I am relatively impressed with them, but I find them to be somewhat inconsistent when it comes to lung hits and volume of vapor. What do you think?

I used the Blu for about a week before buying a 510. A week later I bought a 910. I use my blu as a backup now while I charge my other batteries after or work or at night. I sugesst buying a 510 bc u can use the atty on the blu. The carts are refillable for the blu but you have to clean them before refilling or flavors linger.

Trust me. Get a 510 and you will be left wondering why you even bothered with a blu. Also 510 batteries last 3 times longer. 910 are about twice longer. You can also indulge yourself and buy a pv that can last 12 hrs or more.

I had a blu as one of my first e-cigs. The batteries are the crappiest I've come across. The atomizers don't get warm enough to produce enough vapor for my liking. So it's really not worth it to modify the blu, unless you feel that you have wasted money and need to keep it and use it until you have the funds to get something better. You can't modify the batteries to make them last longer. However, you can get a model that has more options as far as modification goes. For instance as everyones suggested- the 510. 510 is just a name for the ATOMIZER- but the 510 is one of the most popular atomizers out there and definitely has more options for battery mods and whatnot. A good 510 battery mod would be an eGo/Tornado. Check those out. You'd be looking at getting 8-12 hours per use depending on how much you vape. As far as using liquid with your Blu- yes you can, but you can't drip- the blu batteries are automatic and have a small hole in them that liquid can and will get into, and ultimately it will ruin your batteries. Hope this helped

What you do mean by "drip"? Sorry, I'm not used to the lingo yet :)
Dripping is when you use juice to drip directly on the atomizer. People do this because they either get sick of carts or they are getting a funny taste from their carts, or they want to add to the experience of using carts. But with a Blu, you can "DIP" instead of drip. That's when you dip the exposes bridge in juice, it reduces the chance of getting liquid into the battery. Very few models of atomizers have an exposed bridge so the blu is definitely in the minority when it comes to dipping and dripping.

This is my 3rd day using the Blu. What do you need to be able to buy and use e-juice with the Blu?

The best way to "modify" a Blu is to complete the online RMA form from the blucigs.com website and send it back to BluCigs with the kit for a refund during the 30-day trial period. Then, it is "modified" into cash, which can be converted into a Joye eGo kit. :D

I to was a blu user. Since March. I received my ego from Nicotine Nirvana on Saturday. My husband and I are sharing until we have the money for the second kit. With 2 ego's we only have to use our blu's or our pass through's once a day each while we're recharging. To bad for me I was a couple day's late on the 4th of July sale.

Puresmoker.com now has the dual Joye eGo kit at $49.99, with a free bottle of e-liquid. Lowest I've seen.
