I have a blu cig battery that is giving me some trouble. It did not work when I attached it to the atomizer so I thought it was dead. I plugged it into the charger and it blinked and the little light on the charger went from red to blue telling me it is charged. What the heck!!! Am I to survive on one battery until my 901 comes in or is there something I can do to fix it?

Try cleaning the battery connector with a Q-Tip and a little rubbing alcohol.

It might be your battery is fine and your atomizer is clogged. Try blowing thru you atomizer a couple of times with a paper towel over the battery end. If a bunch of junk comes out, it's time to clean your atomizer.

It may not be making good contact. The center post on those batteries sometimes get smooshed in a little bit. If you take a paper clip and insert it just barely in the center hole and pull up slightly in each direction, sometimes that'll help them make better contact. You don't have to insert the clip very far, maybe 1/8" and you don't have to pull up very hard or very far, just a bit. I have a couple that do that a lot. It helps to not over tighten them.

Hmmm... mine isn't a "Blu" but after just one week of consistent use of my 1st e-cig, today it all but stopped working, and I've got the same "symptoms" as AmandaPanda. I saw tons of threads about cleaning atomizers, so now I've gotta sift through and hope that I choose the "right" way. It did seem to want to work a little after I blew through the atomizer and got a little liquid clog out of there, so I'm hoping this is my issue!

sadly no i think i'm stuck with one battery til my 901 comes in hopefully by saturday

At least you have a battery... I've got none (and half a pack of tobacco cigs) till my next order arrives, hopefully by Saturday! (Not to diminish your problem, as it indeed is a problem!) Just today my "backup" battery arrived, and it doesn't fit the charger or atomizers! (Mind you, this company only offers one size/model, so why does their battery not fit their charger?!) After discovering there is NO contact phone number for my e-cig's company (only snail mail & email addys provided), I emailed the company asking for help, waited and waited for some response, and then got mad at them and ordered the "Joye 510 NoBox with PCC" from cignot.com after reading a thread full of rave reviews on this forum. Even if I get the current one working again, I was going to purchase a better quality e-cig anyway; I got this one at my local smoke shop, and it's all he carries. And it's definitely a cheapie!

However, if it never works again, at least it showed me for one week that I finally can get off of tobacco, so I'm feeling excited that I've got a much better setup coming in a couple days. Being able to get this cheap substitute to work for another couple days, though, would indeed be a bonus!

If you're just a little handy the bad battery may be worth more as mod parts to you. The connector on that battery will work with L88B (Blu/Volcano) attys and with 510 attys and cartomizers. In the battery moders formum there is the instructions on how to make a NicoStick. Fairly easy and with a dead battery you have one of most important parts. Another one to look at is the 3 minute lighter mod also listed in the same forum. Both are good starter mods, but be aware, modding is very addictive, once you start, it's hard to stop.
