Here, there, everywhere!
I got my Blu Cig kit today and my Joye 510 (I ordered the 510 as backup after i read several reviews on the Blu).

The Blu is a great size but the Classic tobacco and the Magnificant Menthol leave alot to be desired in my opinion. Classic tobacco - don't even know how to explain the taste (and mind you I know by research they aren't going to taste just like an analog) but the taste is just not appealing at all. The Magnificant Menthol - again not sure about it - had a slight menthol taste but nothing to really write home about. It is going to be sent back unless someone can tell me something great about it that i don't know. After smoking either one of them the roof of my mouth and my throat burned. It went away and might have been the nicotine (18 mg) but the cart of the 510 doesn't do that.

The Joye 510 straight out of the box I love it! Got the manual and it had some Marlboro carts with it. Not so much Marlboro flavor but definitely will be able to use them and them not go to waste.

Return the Blu and get extra 510 stuff is what I intend to do!

the BLU sucks when using the carts from BLU.......I thought the same thing and was about to purchase a 510 or an ego.......but before i did that i got some liquid and gave it a shot refilling my carts for my BLU myself........ever since then I think its just as good as any other brand except the BATTERY LIFE!!!....LOL

Refilling your BLU carts give you a way better PG and you get alot of VG out of it too......been using my atomizer for about a month now and still good and i havent even used my second one i have.....

If i were you i would keep the BLU as a backup and refill the carts. I still plan on getting a 510 or an ego and using my BLU as a backup.

just my 2 cents though...

The one thing I dislike about my Blu is the COLOR of the carts. On the website they show the white ones with white carts, so I assumed that's what I'd be getting. Uh, no. All my carts (with the exception of the menthol) are a tan color. Which makes it look more like an analog. Not what I was going for. It's annoying, but I'll live. I do like how small the Blu is compared to my 510, since it takes up less space in general.

I would keep your blu and use it as a backup, since you can refill the carts. :)

So it appears the general consensus it to keep it. I was already starting to think that was a good idea since it appears I won't get a full refund anyway. I will just return the cartons of carts since I haven't used them at all (was using the freebies).

Is it better to drip or dip with these? Don't want to ruin the battery.

If you're concerned about size, there are other options that are the same size as Blu, but MUCH better.

I've heard that the volcano uses the same batteries but has better atomizers.

My Revolver Elite is better than Blu in every conceivable way except that the automatic batteries (the only option) are too sensitive and tend to activate about half the time if I'm driving at highway speeds.

There are a number of brands that use a battery model I suddenly can't remember, that are a little bigger than a cigarette, but still much smaller than the 510.

So, if you want something more "normal" looking for when you're around other people, I'd look into one of those options, especially the revolver if you want actual size.
