Don't waste your money. There are so many better products out there for less money. Check out madvapes.com. They have a wide variety of PV's, E liquids, accessories and super customer service. There are several other great vendors to choose from as well.

but remember you get what you pay for. my roomate ordered a cheap 510 kit from them and nothing works! gotta send it all back and try again.

pigelty, i have tried 4 blu cig units, and all of them were a bust (lucky me, i tried them for free, though). the batteries don't last, the PCC is iffy and hinky, and the vapor production is very weak. if you are aiming to switch from analogs to e-cigs, you'll be really disappointed in the blu. would hate to see you give up on e-cigs because you tried a lousy one first and thought they were all the same. i'm an eGo fan, myself...and think it's a good starter device for anyone.

Any comments/experiences on users of the Blu Cig?

I'm considering trying it and want some feedback before purchasing.

Thx...

I first got the blu, Atomizer version. It was so so, and I use it in a pinch, and the atomizer version works okay for dipping. I love the stock tobacco flavor. Didn't love the fact that the fluid didn't flow the atomizer thus resulting in total frustration. I did like the fact that I never hosed a Blu battery, and the sensitive auto sensor works like a charm, even when you're not actually vaping.

But facing facts, knowing what I know now I would have NEVER bought the thing. There are plenty of 510 solutions with PCCs that have standard USB jacks on them, and charge meters. Heck, even in Blu size. There are single KR808 solutions for $15-30ish without PCC or wall charger. There is the Riva 510 which costs less than the Blu, and provide enough power for a day of use if not more.

I regret all of my mini cig purchases. The battery life is awful and the vapor production and throat hit also seem lower. I couldn't make it through 8 hours without four separate units or constantly recharging. Not to mention the lack of flavor choices (unless you use a syringe to refill the cartomizers- which is frustrating). The costs associated with the blu are also not worth it. You could invest in a better model for the price of a blu starter kit. Search the e-cigarette reviews forum for some better ideas.

It's awfully snazzy looking. A lot of people like it and a lot of people hate it.

I would never use it..
1. Battery life is horrible for a moderate to heavy vaporer like myself.
2. Throat hit and volume of vapor would feel weak and unsatisfying for me.
3. I dislike Cartomizers

If you are certain you want an ecig that looks like a pen (or closer to a real cigarette) then it's not a bad idea at all.
If I had to get one of these ecigs, I would likely go with Bloog. They seem better received on ECF.
...and I think people on ECF are pretty awesome.

One thing I like about BLU is that they partner with Johnson Creek. While not a fan of their liquid, I am a fan of their company.
Not a fan of their liquid because I like very light flavoring. The flavor is good, just too strong for me.

In any case, chance are that if you get the Blu... you will either like vaping and move into a PV that has better batt life... or you will hate it and move into a PV with better batt life.

I know vaping a PV that looks like a shoe or flashlight isn't appealing at this point in your search... but if you are a pack a day smoker, I think that you should avoid a mini.

my 2 cents

...and their are definitely people here that love minis and have been using them the entire time... find them and get their opinion.

***one last thing... if I knew "then" what I know now... I would have made my first PV a USB Bartleby, 4x 14500 batts,3 510 LR atties and 2 drip tips.

That's around $100.
Although the site says he's not making them, I believe he is...

Blu is a well designed system, compact, convenient and it works. I still use mine to try new flavors. I don't carry it anymore because the batteries simply don't last long enough and I find myself swapping them out way too often, and the vapor potency is subpar to most other pv's. Even with all the mods, tanks, ce2 cartos, etc. that I've bought, my trusty old cheap eGo with a LR Boge cartomizer is the one I find sitting next to me the most often.

Blu was my first e-cig. Though the battery life was horrible, I didn't mind because I switched among 3 that I had. However, the limited flavors in the cartomizers was a drawback, as was the TH and vapor, which weakened after only a few puffs. I ultimately purchased a Riva 510. The Blu, however, was a positive enough experience to lead me to a more long-term e-cigarette. I wished, however, that I posted here first.
