Has anyone found a good replacement for Blu flavors, specifically Magnificent Menthol, Classic tobacco, and Cherry Crush?

I've seen posts recommending the Johnson's Creek Red Oak line, but I've tried all of them and none are similar to the Blu flavors. I'm on to bigger/better hardware, but I really miss the Blu flavors (enough that I still sometimes drop $15 at walgreens for a 5 pack of cartos)

Maybe try the regular JC, rather than the Red Oak line. Perhaps they are more similar to the Blu flavors. I have some of the Original tobacco and Tennessee Cured coming in the mail soon, but I've never tried a Blu so I can't make the comparison.

+1 on the Vermillion River. The three flavors you mentioned would probably be Minnesota Menthol, Classic Blend (or K-Max or Kentucky Premium), and Mystic Cherry Jr. Maybe the Kentucky Cherrywood, but that is definitely cherry tobacco. They have affordable sample bottles and even a FREESAMPLE with reduce shipping cost.

Maybe its just me, but I hated the blu flavors, got them at walgreens and while some were okay, like cherry, menthol, and java jolt, the classic tobacco was awful. It had some chemical taste, I bought an extra pack of it when I purchased the starter pack and all tobacco caromizers had that tast. Java jolt was good while it lasted, but it didn't last more then a day, the menthol lasted longer along with the cherry so I'd say in terms of flavor lasting, they were the best. I've since moved on from Blu since I felt ripped off, others may like it which is okay. But I took mine back and got a refund. I researched the 510 tank system and it had great reviews on vapor and throat hit, so I got it and I really enjoy using it. Plus I can just get e-liquid and refill the tanks easy and cheap. Of course if you are happy with cartomizers then you can order some blanks and fill them with whatever e-liquid you like. :)

I've already got an eRoll, and have an eGo in the mail :)

going to have to try experimenting with flavors from other companies, I've only tried Johnson's Creek. I found that the Blu just has a smoother less harsh flavor compared to all the JC one's i've tried, though I'm thinking that also might have to do with the difference in the atomizer in the eRoll vs the Blu, so I'm going to try some different ohm cartomizers with the eGo to see if that helps.

When I was a Blu user, I didn't mind the Classic Tobacco flavor. I quite enjoyed the menthol. I didn't care overmuch for the other blends and I tried them all.

One of the reasons why the JC flavors have a smoother taste than some other manufacturers is that they are 100% VG based if I recall correctly. Higher concentrations or 100% VG based juices tend to produce more vapor, less throat hit. Also, many report less flavor intensity than primarily PG based blends. Other differences are that high VG blends have a bit more tendency to clog up and/or kill atomizers and wicking systems faster than PG blends due to the higher viscosity of VG over PG.

So that was the long answer. The short answer is, if you liked the Blu flavors particularly....experiment some with other vendors that offer high VG content to their juices. After a bit of time and trial, you'll likely find a few flavors that really suit you.

I'm unaware if Johnson Creek sells their juice that they have in the Blu cartridges in bottles or not. Probably worth an ask to their customer service dept or a visit to the site.
