I know that a lot of people out there in the ECF bash Blu, but for me it has been exactly what I need to quit smoking. I have successfully stayed away from an analog cig for 4 whole days, today being my fifth. I haven’t had any cravings like I used to. I’ll admit that the flavors for Blu leave a bit to be desired, but they are vapable. There are downfalls to the Blu, but for my purpose they’re ones that I can handle. The short amount of battery life is one; however, the PCC makes up for that. Inconstant drags and decreasing vapor production are the biggest flaws that I have found. Vapor production can be easily fixed with another atomizer from a different company and vapor with a different PG/VG content. I did purchase e-liquid from VaporBomb and received it the same day as my Blu. I have changed some of my carts liquid to the VaporBomb liquid and the vapor production has increased without even having to change the atomizer. I know that by changing it I’ll get even more, plus a more consistent drag. All in all the Blu does what I need. It emulates the smoking experience, to an extent and provides me with the nicotine that I need to get over my habit. My sense of smell has already begun to return and the flavors of my dinner last night were amazing. I know I’m going to stick with this and Blu has made it happen. I can’t deny that Blu does need some improvements, a better atty, better tasting carts, better wicking, etc… but, for me, this was exactly what I needed!

You can also try buying some blank 510 cartomizers(soft cap). I used them with my blu and got much improved flavor and vapor production. They are slightly bigger around than the blu batt, but not by much. Litecigusa.net sells them at a good price, plus free shipping on all orders over $15.

I think a lot of people try Blu as their first pv and are disappointed because they try to hit it like a cigarette, which can't be done with any e-cig i've tried (though i've only tried 3). They are new to pv's, they are used to smoking analogs, Blu has a flashy web site, etc... Yes there are better out there, but Blu has it's place. I still use mine sometimes. By the time people move on to another model they have learned how to hit a pv properly and of course it seems better. Yes battery life sucks on the blu, but mine vapes like crazy after just a blu foam mod and some different juice. jm2c

I enjoyed the Blu flavors. My issue was the hit or miss in the vapor production aspect and battery life seemed to be really really short.

The Blu portable charging case is in my opinion the best one being sold today. I wish my 510 pcc was as good. For simple "cool" factor, the Blu has a really sleek and elegant look to it and the fact that it is the EXACT same size as a cigarette really goes a long way.

Their carts however are the biggest problem for me. I ended up taking them apart to get a good look and there's just not alot of room in there for juice. They advertise that each cart is about 8 cigs but honestly Id go through a cart in a few minutes. A few good hits then time to refill the cart. After calculating, the price for replacement cartridges would become far higher than if I had just stayed with analogs.

I tried refilling with Johnson Creek juice and found that anytime I used their carts I would vape the cart dry in a matter of minutes. The refill method on Blu's is not an easy one, so I would refill about 30 carts to take with me for the day and ended up running out ( yes I was a heavy smoker ) so the work involved in keeping the Blu alive just made it completely prohibitive for me.

That being said, the Blu can be a fairly good dipping device because of its atty design.

In the end though, I found the 510 to be a far superior device and a far less expensive device for continued use.

I have had my Blu for a couple weeks. Still off of analogs. I was thinking of replacing it and doing the 30 day replacement to get a 510. Now I actually think ill keep my blu for my going to work and out of the house e cig. The PCC for it is actually perfect for me. The batteries do go dead fast but my mostly stealth vaping in the restroom at work. The case charges the batteries for me for the whole day and I dont worry about them going dead. I think I am still going to get a 510. But just a small kit for use around the house.

I started with a blu too, luckily I found out quick about all the downfalls and got it back in 30 days for a full refund.

I could have lived with the battery life and the flavors, but the attys sucked. and the foil on the carts would weld itself to them if you didn't peel it back first. After 3 days with mine I all read had 4 more attys on order.

And yes I think their carts actually = about 2 analogs (maybe 3 if you smoked 72's)

But it did the trick for me, It got me off analogs and on to better PV's so it wasn't so bad :)
