I got my first Blu when they were only available online. Helped me on cutting back quite well... at first. Enough so that I became an affiliate, with their link on my blog

Took forever to get any kickback off that. And couldn't quite kick the smokes. Removed the affiliate stuff

Got my first eGo setup about a year later. Still not quite good enough

Now running rebuildables on several different mods. Still have a very rare smoke (3 last week). Woulld NEVER go back to a cigalike

In the UK, Blu have become the enemy of all refillable vape devices and all non-tobacco vaping companies ... they already have the 'end game' planned where they stab more than 23 e-cig companies (non-tobacco) in the back next year when the TPD comes into effect.

Choice is becoming a rare commodity in this world... Blu certainly want to avoid people having choice. I'm sure some Golf umbrellas and T-Shirts will do a lot for their public image.

The best thing of all (forgive my sarcasm) is a T-Shirt that reads

"Take back your freedom"....

That has to be the most ironic statement of the 21st century e-cig business really.

BLU is a refillable device there. Aren't the BLU kits in the UK basically eGos with refillable tanks?

I used Blu after starting with GreenSmoke as they were sold locally.
Let's just say that IF what was available today was available then AND I, like you now, had been here on ECF asking questions and thereby availed myself to the Intel here....
I would not have had such a "Blah" negative experience or wasted all the Cash on Blu or GreenSmoke. Definitely would have done differently, had an easier time of Kickin' the Camel, and been thoroughly diging the Vape Hobby and Passion MUCH sooner.
There is SO MUCH MORE that is TONS better than those.
Don't repeat the frustration, aggravation, and barely acceptable experiences of myself and others. Just say NO to those and choose from the plethora of Real Vape Equipment & Devices out there. It won't really cost you anymore upfront and definitely save lotsa Cash over time.

Search for "Starter Kits" here on ECF then Read all you can and then decide a Quality Conveyance for your Vape Journey.
All the best to you and glad you're here.

P.s. No matter all the Reward Points in the World or even if they gave them to me free,,, I'd Pass. Honestly.

Can't believe people still try those. They can't sell them up here in Canada, so even almost 2 years ago my first kit was an ego and a davide tank. Now have 2 100w Sig box mods, 2 Fogger Big tanks, many sets of high amp batteries, a dozen or so coils of wire, koh gen do cotton, boxes of screwdrivers, jigs, coilers, ohm meters..... forgot what the hell I was talking about now.... getting old....

My daughter and I started vaping with Blu, first the disposables to see if they would work for us, then the starter kits. Mind you, we had already been cigarette-free for around 6 years, but stress and cravings were making going back to cigarettes seem more and more desirable. We just wanted something to keep us cigarette-free.

We were extremely happy that they worked to get rid of the cravings. However, we soon got tired of problems with the equipment - my daughter went through 2 of the charging cases within the first couple of months we used them - and inconsistency with the cartridges. This was right around the time that they sold out to Lorillard.

As soon as we could get enough spare cash together, we moved on to a different cigalike brand with better consistency as far as equipment and cartridges were concerned.

We have since moved on from cigalikes to Evods, and are very happy with the equipment we have now. We continue to be ex-smokers, and intend to continue to vape as long as we feel we want/need to.

Bottom line - Blu showed us that vaping would work for us, and for that we are grateful. Now that they are owned by Lorillard, we would not go back to Blu, no matter how many or what kind of rewards they offer.

Yes. Blu make a refillable device. Next year, thanks to the TPD, it will be illegal.
They are supporting legislation that bans their own products. That's what makes it a business master-stroke; sell the product people want, then work to make it illegal to sell refillable. Take over all the vaping kiosks, get rid of all the other products. Welcome 2016, bye bye refillable, hello $4.50 cartomizers and $15 sealed CE4s.

I'd eat Sewer Rat before I starved. It will keep you alive and kickin.
However, as Jules Winnfield put it so eloquently, that don't make it Pumpkin Pie and it sure doesn't equate it to "Good" or desirable by any means.
Let's just say that Blu (and All such Dookie) are the Sewer Rats of the Vape World :thumb:
