Greetings.
I have been getting discouraged the past week or two with my vaping experiences. Just could not achieve the balance of VP, flavor and was annoyed with all the fussing with tweezers and paper towels. I tried different liquids, a tank system, drip tips, etc.
I finally got a package of Marineland Rite-Size U Bonded Foam Sleeve blue filters to mod my eGO carts. Checked out a couple of youtube vids on how-to and just went for it. Kept it simple, just rinsed the filter before first use and cut to size. I put about 6 drops in the empty cart and carefully inserted the piece of foam with tweezers into the cart so it was flush with the lip. Then topped it up with several more drops. I used this video to guide me, and there are many others with different methods. The filter he shows is the exact one I got from my local Petsmart. My local Petco did not have them but I am sure they can be found in many stores. Cost was $7.99 for a package of three sleeves.

I am really pleased with the result. I can taste my flavors again, excellent VP, and it lasts much longer between top-ups. Only started this today so I hope it leads to consistently satisfying sessions as I am having as I type this!
I do recommend rinsing the filter before first use. I suppose you could cut to size and hold the piece under the tap as well, but rinsing will lead to a cleaner flavor.
I think I will try the tea bag method as well at some point. This video gave a good how-to and I saved it for future use:
