Ok Here are my flavor reviews.

Hoosier E-Cig

Cherry
Banana
Candy Watermelon
Strawberry
Cotton Candy
Gangstas Paradise

Every single one has a perfumey after taste. Basically causing me to GAG!

Blue Mist vaping

RY4
Robacco Cherry
Robacco Menthol
Smooth
Caramel Apple (VG)
Blueberry

All flavors except Caramel Apple have a perfumey taste. Not quite as bad as Hoosier, but defintely not going to vape these. Caramel Apple is like vaping distilled water.

So the only flavor that I have bought so far that I can tolerate is, Dekangs Newport Menthol. A freaking Chineese product. This is unbeliavable!

Someone please help. I was a Blu user prior to purchasing my KGO. I loved their menthol and Cherry. Their flavors were very good, no perfume aftertaste. They just had a very subtle and mild taste, that just hit the spot. Where am I going wrong? I need to find a good vape without spending every last dime in my bank account. I know we all have different taste but I cant be alone out here.

Any suggestions for some great vendors would be wonderful!

Thanks

Dekang has some great juices :)
I have found that most fruit flavors taste awful, from all vendors! Strawberry, watermelon, and most peach taste like scented soap to me.

When I first started vaping, like you, Dekang Menthol was the only flavor I could handle. Good luck, it will get easier -- you will find your perfect vape, but it does take a lot of experimenting.

I thought Blu used Johnson creek? If so... start there...

Don't know about Hosier... but Blue Mist needs to steep a little... it was mixed when you ordered it - it didn't sit around for months like the dekang... so it's not quite ready to go...

Despite this... I don't think Bluemist would be your thing anyway - I like those flavors and I like light flavored juice....

I like some dekang too. No shame in that... lots of folks like it...

...you sound like you need stronger tasting juice with some more intense throat hit...

I'll point you towards your greener pastures... though I'd do a little more research before you buy...

Totally Wicked, Halo, Janty and possibly Johnson Creek and LiquidXpress - are the first juices that come to mind - ask about these... read some reviews... check out their forums... these are more like the dekang blends... higher quality in my opinion... but more similar in flavor + intensity.

It just absolutely blows when you shell out all this money (even though their sample sizes) and don't like any of them.

I will definitely let the blue Mist juices steep for awhile and try them at a later date!

As far as Blu goes, they do use JC and that's where I plan on stopping next. I have to agree with lasttango about the stronger tasting juices, it does seem like that is more suited to my taste. Those lighter juices just taste like they're mixed with soap or something.

Besides JC and Dekang, do any of you know of any juice vendors that are larger scale operations? Meaning they dont mix it when I order it. I'm thinking companies like that would be the way to go. What about Totally Wicked, Halo, and Janty? Are they bigger companies that mass produce juice?

I just have to find that one juice that I cant imagine not having.

Thanks

LT, awhile back I read a page on the VapourWorldUK site advising customers to steep all juices at least a week or two, including Dekang. VapourWorld explained that the idea of juices sitting in warehouses for months is a myth. Contemporary business works with an on-demand urgency. Manufacturers and retail vendors can't afford to keep large inventories of juices. Juices are produced according to orders on the desk, then shipped out to retail vendors often the same day they are manufactured or very shortly thereafter, literally within 24-72 hours. Vendors order in smaller batches and do closer inventory control via computers to re-order before they run out. So, many or even most pre-mixed, pre-bottled juices (from China or anywhere else) are only 7-10 days old when the consumer gets them.

In the simplest terms, the Chinese are much too savvy as profit-driven, hard-core capitalists to let their products "sit around for months." When it does happen on occasion, it's a mistake that gets corrected real darn quick. Corporate accountants, bean-counters, and middle managers make sure of that, because their executive bosses pressure them to do so.

No doubt numerous cases exist of vapers receiving juices that are months old, but---according to the implications of VapourWorld's explanation---those are indeed exceptions. Like dairy products in grocery stores, most vaping juices (whether custom-made-to-order or pre-mixed/bottled) are remarkably fresh.

I do not know anything about the KGO, but I know that most flavors I tried when I was using an Ego-T were either, immediately nasty, nasty after vaping the same flavor for more than 30 min, or didn't taste like much of anything. Flavors taste radically different on different devices (cartos, attys, CE2's etc. With a Boge carto and a variable voltage mod all those flavors I hated suddenly taste wonderful. Supposedly people get even better flavor expression with dripping although I've never had the patience to mess with it. The biggest difference I saw was with fruit flavors, those were the ones where the flavor turned from ok to nasty after vaping for a little while on the Ego. I must admit now I mix my own juice, I am too sensitive to the strength of the flavor and the only way to get it right is to do it myself.

The three vendors that in my opinion have really rich, flavorful, non-weird tasting juices are Alien Visions, Ms. Ts Bakery, and Vermillion River. I have tried juices from all over, just like everybody else, and most of them just sit in my little juice box, except from those vendors.

Ok let me ask you this. Is it just me or do these juices have a chemical undertone to them? I cant quite put my finger on it, but it is like they mix it with some type of soap or detergent. Is this caused from the nicotine or possibly the PG? I obviously havent gotten into DIY yet, so I dont quite understand the process of making juice.

This sucks. I have tried these juices on multiple devices. Meaning my Kgo, my Blu, and my Apollo. I am getting the same damn taste no matter what I use. I did put an order in with JC and I am praying that there is just one juice in that sample pack that I like. Thats all I need. I am not trying to find 15 different juices that I like. I could care less about vaping fudge brownies and everything else under the sun. Just 1 juice would do the trick.

Here's the deal. A lot of juices (in my opinion) taste like scented bubble bath. Is that what you mean? I would buy Strawberry, Watermelon, Peach -- they all tasted like that, no matter which vender I got them from. I finally found one vendor that I can buy from that I like all the juices; but that's just my opinion. You might not like them.

I dont take bubble baths so I cant go as far as saying that, but i think were on the same page. I just taste this soapy undertone when I vape these juices. It's gross! I thought maybe it was because I was dripping so I filled up a few cartomizers and still had that same taste.

Thank god I bought the Dekang Menthol when I purchased all this different crap. Right now it's the only juice I have that I can tolerate but it is a little harsh. There is no way that I could vape this for months to come. While using Blu's cartomizers I would look forward to my morning coffee and vaping a cherry flavored cartomizer. It was enjoyable. This other crap I bought just makes me gag!

That's exactly where I was at, 3 or 4 weeks into vaping. Then I bought some Backwoods Brew juices. None tasted like soap, but I found them pretty flavorless except for the Strong Menthol. I liked that a lot. It was much milder than the Dekang Menthol. Another one I liked was Mom & Pop Vaping's Grasshopper. Minty and a slight bit chocolatey.

Now, even though I was a menthol smoker, I don't touch menthol. What I vape now mostly is from Nite Lite Vapor. Bounty Hunter, Renegade, Line Rider, and Vanilla Strait (the only vanilla I have tried that actually tastes like vanilla). None taste perfumey. All taste really good.

I have bought some really expensive juices that people here rave about, but to me they tasted like candle wax or perfume. If you want to PM me, I can name names! I feel your pain :(
