Refresh all the screens that you visit. For some reason it's not being refreshed when the pages reload.

Just posting so this is in my subscriptions so that I might get an email on when this is over. Not worth it. 'Refresh' doesn't get it because you have to refresh on each page to get new replies too, as well as signifying 'read' posts.

Usually forums like this have nocache tags on all the pages. This one is acting like the nocache value is broken or being ignored. It appears that posts are entering the database correctly, but browsers are hanging onto cached pages, making it look like posts disappeared.

For the moment you can work around it by turning off caching in your browser, clearing your cache before reloading pages or doing a "super reload" each time.
