So, I ordered Boba's Bounty last week and I received it 3 days ago. I tried it out with all this expectations and hype that I received from all the good reviews.

To me, it tasted like raisins and/or prunes which I hate.... I'm not a big fan of this taste. I heard about the whole steeping thing and I'm not sure if it'll taste any different later on. Several people's tried it and they all agreed that it tasted like raisins or prunes and they all hated this flavor too.

Is this how Boba's Bounty is supposed to taste like? I was expecting a really nutty, rich, and graham cracker taste, but it failed my expectations. How much will the flavor REALISTICALLY change over time? Or is this the base taste that I will be stuck with throughout the whole bottle?

Haven't ever had Boba's, but I did get some juice I let steep for quite a while a year or so ago. Made a big difference imo...but didn't really change the main taste I was getting in the beginning. So will it change if you steep? Yes. Will it be totally different? Doubtful. If you dislike it now, chances are you'll dislike it after steeping as well. Just my 2cents lol

Good luck!

I get mostly honey graham cracker, plus some other stuff I can never place. I've never tasted raisins or prunes in it. Boba's does need a good steep, IMO. I'm also a firm believer that Boba's is an acquired taste, lots of people don't like it much at first, I didn't. That said I seem to have un-accquired a taste for it as of late.

I got a bottle of it last week, and I was expecting Jesus Juice, too. After reading so many love letters about it on the forum. I was excited to try it. To me, it was kind of "meh". I'm going to let it sit a while, and I'll give it another shot. It tastes like a vanilla/caramel tobacco. It didn't knock my socks off either. But who knows? Maybe it will grow on me.

Jesus Juice. Yet another winning flavor name!

Didn't knock my socks off the first time either. Picked up a sample right before AVE moved.
Waited till they re-opened and tried again. Totally different taste to me that worked better.

I'd stash it for a couple of weeks then come back to find out for sure.
You may not like it, but at least you'll know it wasn't because the flavors hadn't come in yet.

Alot of people don't like it at first but after awhile for most people they end up loving it.I have seen hundreds of post like yours and most of them come back later and say how they really dig it.Now that may not happen with u but do give it a chance.I was the same as u at first with boba's and GJ BUT NOW LIKE THEM ALOT.AVE makes some good juices in IMO,and to tell u the truth I like there flue cured and havana gold better than BB AND GJ.

I had some made to order eJuice that I let sit for about a month and the flavor profile had literally shot through the roof. Especially the Fruit Flavors I like so much. Steeping always helps develop the flavor... but if you don't like it from the get go then you probably won't like it after it steeps. I liked the Strawberry and Watermelon flavors a lot, just forgot about them, but when I re-discovered them the flavor had 'Matured', or so they say, to a point of impressing me. And that usually takes a lot to do so.

I attempted to like Boba's multiple times over the past couple of months and it just never happened. To each his own...I can see why a lot of people like it, though.

My sentiments exactly. I don't care for tobacco flavors, and even as a kid I didn't like grahm crackers. But all the hype made me curious, and I ended up giving it a try.

Yup, sure tasted like grahm crackers. :nah: Over the last couple of months since I got it, I continue to give it another chance. I will admit it has gotten better, or I've grown more tolerant of it, but I never vape it more than a few minutes at a time.

Plus, in a carto tank it is an extremely tight draw, even with 4 self-punched holes in the carto. Only juice I've had issues with wicking.

What gear are you vaping it on? I've had it for a couple of weeks, and while I liked it well enough from the start, I did think that it tasted like Gorilla Juice's twin. I like Gorilla Juice pretty well.

Well....I JUST vaped it on an eGo twist and WOWZA. I get it now I think. CLOUDS of vapor, a strong warm, dark taste and the banana! I dialed it up and it got warmer but kinda burntish, so as I dialed it down the flavor just got stronger. I like it and it'll be awesome with my morning coffee. I get it now, I get it. Yay.

I also get a rum raisin kind of taste to it. I really like it. I do find it gunks up my vivi nova but quick. I vape mostly PG-free juices and they tend to be a bit thick. I'm finding I have to change the heads pretty much every tank.

I just got a bunch of spare heads so I can make sure I always have clean spares on hand.

What are you using for your voltage and juice delivery? Maybe it makes a difference. I'm at 4-4.2V on a 2.8 ohm head.

I didn't like it at all when I first received it. A week later, meh, it was okay - tasted like Dr. Pepper or prune juice mixed with tobacco - which probably relates to the reports of raisin and cola flavorings as being an ingredient. Two weeks later - hmmmmm, pretty good. But, definitely not as fabulous as I had imagined from all the rave reviews I had read. I really don't get any of the graham cracker or nutty flavor others describe.

I've also been testing it on various delivery systems each time. To me it tastes it's very best using a cartomizer. Next best is dripping on a 510 atomizer. Last place was in the vivi Nova.
